Winning bidder for S. Sumatra LPG plant project to be announced in May

The winning bidder for the planned construction of a mini liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) plant in Musi Banyu Asin, South Sumatra, is expected to be announced in May, in the hope that construction can begin in the middle of this year, according to a senior government official.
Umi Asngadah, Director for Downstream Oil and Gas Business Development at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, said that the tender process is currently still in progress, participated by 41 bidders.
?We?re still waiting for the result of the tender to build the Rp 100 billion LPG plant with a capacity of 17 tons per day,? Umi told Petromindo.com Tuesday. ?The winning bidder will be announced in May.?
