Winning bidders for oil, gas, CBM working areas

The government announced on Tuesday the winning bidders for three oil and gas blocks, and four coal bed methane (CBM) working areas.
The winning bidders for the three oil and gas PSCs under the first round of the 2012 regular tender are as follows. PT Ekuator Energi Sokang wins the East Sokan PSC located in the Riau Islands.
Total E&P Indonesia Mentawai B.V wins the Bengkulu I-Mentawai block in Bengkulu Province, while Total E&P Indonesia Telen wins the Telen working area located in East Kalimantan.
Investment commitment for the three oil and gas blocks totals US$80.38 million, while signature bonus for the government totals $4 million.
Meanwhile, the winning bidders for the four CBM working areas are as follows.
Dart Energy (Bontang Bengalon) Pte Ltd wins the GMB Bontang Bengalon area in East Kalimantan.
PT Belawa Energi Utama wins the GMB Belawa PSC in Central Kalimantan. Consortium of Ephindo Sekayu 2 Inc and Star Energy CMB (Sekayu) Ltd gets the GMB Sekayu II working area in South Sumatra, while CBM Asia Kuala Kapuas Ltd wins the GMB Kuala Kapuas I in Central Kalimantan.
Investment commitment for the four CBM working areas totals $15.35 million, while signature bonus for the government totals $5 million.
