Wintermar, Lanpan in JV offshore operation deal

Indonesia Exchange-listed firm PT Wintermar Offshore Marine Tbk has signed a joint venture firm with Lanpan Pte Ltd of Singapore to operate offshore vessels for jackets and offshore structures construction project.
The company has 51 percent in the JV with Lanpan holding the rest, the company said in a statement on Friday.
The company said that the first vessel to be owned by the JV is an offshore barge with size of 300 feet. An Anchor Handling Tug with power of 4,000 HP will be bought later this year. The company did not details. (denny)
