Wintermar orders 3rd PSV to support deepwater drilling
Secures $6.5m contract from Total

The 76 m Platform Recovery/ Safety Standby vessel of about 3,500 dwt is expected to be delivered in June 2012 and will be deployed to support deepwater drilling and operations of the oil and gas industry in Indonesia, the company said without disclosing value.
In addition, the company said it has won a 2-year contract worth US$ 6.5 million with Total E&P Indonesie.
Under the contract Wintermar will provide a supply vessel for Total?s operations in Mahakam block East Kalimantan commencing 2012.
The vessels main scope of work involves anchor handling and towing, safety standby, services, cargo transport services, passenger transport, oil spill clearance and firefighting services.
According to the company it has won 23 new tenders from January to May
2011, with total contract on hand valued at $104 million.
Wintermar currently owns a fleet of over 60 vessels.(alex)
