Workover at Sampang PSC concluded

ASX-listed Cue Energy Resources Ltd announced on Tuesday the Sampang PSC well workover program in East Java, to increase production and extend field life, concluded in August with the Oyong-7 well brought on production, initially as an oil producer.
Installation of onshore gas compression at the Grati gas plant was completed in July. This will maintain gas production from Oyong and Wortel and extend field life, the firm said.
The Oyong average oil production rate for the second quarter of the year was 1250 bopd (gross) and the daily gas average rate was 23.60 mmcf (gross) (Cue net: 161 bopd and 2.93 mmcf - both net of government take under the PSC). Wortel -3 and Wortel-4 flowed gas at a combined average daily rate of 36.54 mmcf (gross) during the quarter (Cue net 5.07 mmcf net of government take under the PSC, the firm said in a press statement in July.
The Sampang PSC, located offshore Madura Island, East Java, is operated by ASX-listed Santos with a 45 percent interest. ASX-listed Cue Energy Resources Ltd has a 15 percent interest in the PSC, while Singapore Petroleum Company holds a 40 percent interest. It has three fields, namely Oyong, Wortel and Jeruk.
