WPI plans to build 50 MW power plant in Bangka

PT Welton Power Indonesia (WPI) plans to build a 50 MW diesel-fired power plant in Bangka Regency, Bangka Belitung Province, to help supply power in the region.
The local Bangkapos.com said that WPI has held initial talks with the Bangka Regency administration, and proposed to partner with PD Bangka Global Mandiri, a company owned by the local administration, in the project.
No further details were provided about the planned project. It remains unclear whether the Bangka Regency administration has approved the proposed project. (*)
