WSC increases stake in Mitrabara Adiperdana

PT Wahana Sentosa Cemerlang (WSC) has increased its stake in IDX-listed coal mining firm PT Mitrabara Adiperdana Tbk from 51 percent to 60 percent.
WSC said in a statement Friday that it acquired the extra Mitrabara shares from PT Baramulti Sugih Sentosa and businessman Tossin Suharya.
As reported by this portal on Friday Japan?s Idemitsu Kosan Ltd has also increased its stake in Mitrabara to 30 percent by acquiring an additional 18 percent shares from Tossin Suharya.
Mitrabara operates coal concessions in Malinau Regency, North Kalimantan. The company hopes to produce 2.5 million tons of coal this year, plans to increase it to 4 million tons next year.
