PRE-QUALIFICATION NOTICE

PRE-QUALIFICATION FOR PROPOSED

MENTARANG INDUK HYDROELECTRIC PROJECT (MIHEP)

IN KALIMANTAN UTARA, INDONESIA.

PT kayan hydropower Nusantara (PT KHN ) plans to develop a sustainable hydropower project in malinau regency, north kalimantan province, indonesia located approximately 35 km upsteam from kota malinau, the proposed hydroelectric project is planned to deliver an installed capacity of 1,375MW. PT KHN is committed to maximizing: a) the economic value of MIHEP to Indonesia and b) the participation of Indonesian firms in the supply of goods and services to PT KHN. Both PT KHN and its Contractors will need to comply stiictly with relevant Tingkat Komponen Dalam Negeri (TKDN) Regulations, as applicable. To this end, PT KHN expects that Indonesian firms seeking pre-qualification may need to fonyi a Consortium or JV with an experience, intemational company to meet the Eligibility Criteria set out below.

Suitably qualified Consortiums are invited to participate in this Pre-Qualification exercise for MIHEP as follows:

Title : PRE-QUALIFICATION FOR PROPOSED MIHEP MAIN CIVIL WORKS

Eligibility  : At least one member of the bidding consortium or JV has been Main Civil Contractor for least ONE (1) major hydroelectric  project in excess of USD 250 million in the last 15ears.

Title : PRE-QUALIFICATION FOR PROPOSED MIHEP MAIN ELECTRICAL & MECHANICAL WORKS

Eligibility  : Electrical & Mechanical Manufacturer / Supplier for at least ONE (1) major hydroelecric project in excess of USD 150 million in the last 10 years, with a Unit Tutine Generator size of at least 200MW.

Interested Participants are required to submit evidence of fulfilling the mandatory Eligibility requirements, failing which, the request fo Pre-Qualification documents will not be considered.

Instruction to Participants:

1. Interested Participants that meet the eligibility requirements is required to do the following steps:

a Email your Interest to participate in either one or both pre-qualification exercise to: procurement@ptkhn.corn

b. Include the following details in the email,

 i. Email Subject: 1 Interest to Participate in Pre-Qualification for Proposed MIHEP Main Civil Works

and / or

2. Pre-Qualification for Proposed MIHEP Main Electrical & Mechanical Works

iii. Company Narne & Address:

iv. Attach al softcopy of evidence for mandatory eligibility requirements.

2. PT KHN will acknowledge receipt of Participants' email on the interest to participate.

3. PT KHN will verify the eligibility fulfilment and inform Pafficipan. accordingly.

4. Upon confirmation that eligibility requirements have been met, PT KHN will issue one set of the Pre-Qualification Documents via email.

5. Interest to participate should be confirmed no later than fourteen (14) days before the submission deadline 

6. PT KHN is not liable for any cost incurred in the preparation of this Pre-Qualification submission.

The completed Pre-Qualification Documents shall be submitted via email to procurement@ptkhn.com not later than 7th July 2021

(Wednesday) at 3.00 p.rn. (Jakarta time). Any submission received after the deadline will not be considered.
