PT Agincourt Resources (PTAR) specialises in gold and silver exploration, mining, and processing at the Martabe Gold Mine in South Tapanuli, North Sumatra. PTAR is headquartered in Jakarta and employs over 3,000 workers as of 2024, with more than 99% being Indonesian citizens and over 70% recruited locally. Committed to safe, sustainable operations, PTAR prioritises minimising environmental impact while delivering long-term benefits to local stakeholders.

The Martabe Gold Mine, located in South Tapanuli Regency, North Sumatra, operates across 646.08 hectares as of December 2024. Since production began on 24 July 2012, the mine has processed over 6 million tonnes of ore annually, producing more than 200,000 ounces of gold and 1–2 million ounces of silver annually.

The Martabe Gold Mine operates under a 30-year Contract of Work (CoW) with the Indonesian Government. Initially spanning 6,560 km² in 1997, the concession area has been refined to 130,252 hectares (1,303 km²), encompassing South Tapanuli, Central Tapanuli, North Tapanuli and Mandailing Natal Regencies.

As of June 2024, the mine’s mineral resources were estimated at 6.1 million ounces of gold and 59 million ounces of silver, while ore reserves were calculated at 3.2 million ounces of gold and 32 million ounces of silver.

Exploration constitutes a vital component of PTAR’s operations, aimed at expanding existing resource bases and discovering new mineral deposits in line with our contractual obligations. The Exploration Department is responsible for overseeing the diamond drilling contract.

PTAR hereby invites a single, highly qualified and experienced contractor to participate in a tender for the provision of Transport and Logistics Services. The scope of services required includes, but is not limited to, the following:

General Requirement

Transport Bio Diesel (B40) from Pertamina’s depots located in Sibolga, or occasionally from Dumai, for delivery to PT Agincourt Resources (PTAR) site in Batangtoru, South Tapanuli, North Sumatra.

Possess a valid fuel transportation operating license issued by the relevant government authority.

Supply an appropriate fleet of tanker trucks or trailer tanks with the following specifications:

  1. Tanker trucks with a capacity of 24,000 liters, configured in accordance with Pertamina standards (3 x 8,000 liters).
  2. Tanker trucks with a capacity of 16,000 liters, configured in accordance with Pertamina standards (2 x 8,000 liters).
  3. All delivery trucks must be securely sealed at all access points including tank lids, manholes, valves, and any other inlets or discharge outlets.

Logistic Service:

  1. Provide a sufficient number of fuel trucks/trailer tanks to meet the required delivery volume within the specified timeframes.
  2. Deploy qualified personnel, including trades and labor, to effectively perform the services as defined in this Scope of Work.
  3. Implement a preferential hiring policy in support of the local community, particularly targeting residents from the “10+5 DAV” (10+5 Directly Affected Villages) as advised by PTAR.

Establish and enforce comprehensive procedures for Fatigue Management and Risk Management in all aspects of operations.

The estimated volume of fuel to be transported is approximately 1,600,000 liters per month, or 19,200,000 liters annually. This figure is subject to change based on PTAR’s operational requirements.

 

Qualified contractors with extensive experience and expertise preferably based in the North Sumatra region are invited to express their interest in providing services related to mining operations. Interested parties must demonstrate a proven track record of at least five (5) years in delivering similar services, with preference given to those with experience in the gold mining sector.

1. Business Identification Number (NIB) and/or Company Registration Certificate (TDP)

2. Oil & Gas Transportation Business License (IUP MIGAS)

3. Official Fuel Distribution Certificate for B40 from PT Pertamina (Persero)

4. Transportation Business Permit and Certificate issued by the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM)

5. Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP)

6. Confirmation of Taxable Entrepreneur (SPPKP)

7. Company Deeds (initial and latest amendments)

8. List of clients and relevant past project experience

9. Client reference or acknowledgment letters
