We are seeking experienced people for the following positions:

SENIOR ENGINEER MINE PLANNING (TECHNOLOGY SYSTEMS – 926424)

(JAKARTA HEAD OFFICE)

Some of your duties will include:

• Provide leadership to manage mining technology / systems streams under Technology Systems to support / provide services to end users of the following area : Business Technology & Mining Systems

• Deliver a quality service to the clients based on agreed standards (Customer Focus)

• Well manage Support Team function in Daily basis

• Be proactive in any circumstances related to overcoming any issues, disputes, and problems with consideration of certain aspects

• Encourage the team to be well prepared and anticipated against objections

• Stimulate the development of analysing, judging, and adapting to situation

• Being good example of focus on the objectives, details, target, timelines with consideration of providing added values to the business

• Manage team task lists against completion target and ad hoc requests

• Actively investigate enhancements on Business Systems processes or Technology to increase performance and productivity

• Check site compliance with agreed mine plans when required

• Analyse recommend best mining practice (mining methods, loss and dilution)

• Manage Planning Objectives each stream and roll out the method of planning monitor across all teams

• Encourage the team to seek and Identify Mining Technology and Innovation with Low Cost but High Impact to Business

• Providing cost analysis in every Mining Technology and systems improvement prior decision making

• Encourage the team to put Cost parameter as one of items to be considered in analysing a project

What skills and experience do you need?

• Bachelor’s degree of general engineering or equivalent

• Minimum 5 years experiences in Mining Industry

• Strong knowledge of coal mining concepts, methods and technologies

• Demonstrate skill in managing Mining System or Technology Stream

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for both oral and written in Bahasa/English

• Strong Technical  background in computer programming

• Understand algorithms and data structures

SPECIALIST TRAINING MINING - 926335

(Fixed Term Basis - BALIKPAPAN)

Some of your duties will include;

• To train and assess TCI mining operations personnel in all aspects of mining operations in order to achieve maximum productivity with a high focus on safety. This will include delivery of mining operations operator, mining L/H, mining trainer and supervisor training and assessment;

• Provide Heavy equipment training such as: Excavator, Bulldozer, Truck, Grader, compactor and other support equipment in construction business for Thiess personnel in order to increase the productivity, maintenance and improve personnel's capability. Including delivering effective theoretical & Practical training in accordance with Thiess standard;

• Assist in the design of training material which is relevant to used competency standards;

• Conduct assessment activities in accordance with TCI TMS and relevant Australian competency standards

• Develop the skills proficiency of workplace trainers and assessors

• Actively involved in maintain and monitor of training equipment used for training activities and provide report to superiors when noncompliance found;

• Provide accurate report and feedback of training activities to site supervision and TCI Training & Development supervisors in order to keep the alignment systems between Training & Development and sites and assist in database improvement.

What skills and experience do you need?

• Minimum graduated from Senior High School/ vocational school or similar with minimum of 10 years’ experience within the mining and/or construction industry as a HE Operator; 3-5 years’ experience as a mining operations trainer and or supervisor; familiar with Heavy earth moving equipment operator codes including truck and/or excavator/dozer/grader/wheel loader; Highway truck codes; Certificate IV in Workplace Training; POP Certification;

• Strong communication skills (written & verbal); facilitation skills; presentation skills; have self-confident, familiar with work in under pressure and computer literacy

SUPERVISOR MECHANIC TMRP - 926462

(BALIKPAPAN)

Some of your duties will include;

• To plan and coordinate the repair and service of equipment according to TMS plant department policies and procedures to ensure availability targets and budget are achieved

• Lead, organise and provide direction for employees to ensure ourstanding performance is achieved in people performance, HSEQ outcomes and the business results

• Ensure the allocation of spare parts and allocation of tools and equipment is closely scrutinized

• Ensure all paperwork is carried out correctly and handed to the appropriate personnel on time

What skills and experience do you need?

• Tertiary degree in Mechanic or Mechanical Engineering

• Minimum 2 years experience in a same role at a mine site

• Subcontractors and employee supervision experience

SPECIALIST TRAINING CRC - 926459

(Fixed Term Basis - BALIKPAPAN)

Some of your duties will include;

• Provide training to TCI employees and CRC team in all aspects of mechanical in order to increase productivity, maintenance and improve personnel's capability, including delivering effective theoretical & practical training in accordance with Thiess standard

• Assist in the design of training material which is relevant to used competency standards;

• Provide report and feedback of training activities to CRC supervision and TCI Training & Development Supervisors in order to keep the alignment systems between Training & Development and CRC

• Actively involved in maintain and monitor of training equipment used for training activities and provide report to superiors when noncompliance found;

• Provide accurate report based on training report participants' data to Plant Training in order to assist in database improvement

• Provide result of training to Superintendent CRC, Superintendent Plant Training and CRC Manager

What skills and experience do you need?

• Heavy earth moving equipment technical codes including truck and/or excavator/dozer/grader/wheel loader

• Certificate IV in Workplace Training

• Experience as Trainer of English assemble & Powertrain assemble at least 5 years

• Minimum of 7 years experience within the mining industry as heavy equipment tradesman

ESTIMATOR MECHANICAL - 926467

(Fixed Term Basis - BALIKPAPAN)

Some of your duties will include;

• Quote on all jobs put through Balikpapan Workshop

• Ensure all jobs are engineered to Australian Standards or Client requirements/OEM specs

• Source and provide plant and equipment analysis/information to client groups

• Continuous improvement of plant procedures, policies, environment, health and safety

What skills and experience do you need?

• Minimum Senior Technical High School

• Has good knowledge for technical on both mechanical and fabrication work

• Understand for work costing

• Minimum of 2 years in similar role

OFFICER TYRE MANAGEMENT - 926464

(JAKARTA HEAD OFFICE)

Some of your duties will include;

• Responsible for update All Tyre and Rim Action Form which sent from Thiess Group for APAC Region

• Deliver regular management report related with Tyre & RIM activities for APAC Region

• Support Tyre Consignment process for TCI Region

• Provide Comprehensive Quality Control any regular task & data processing

What skills and experience do you need?

• Diploma or Degree in related majors

• Minimum 1 year experience as Clerk or Data Entry

• Good communication and Computer literate

• Attention to detail and good teamwork

• JDE Literacy

ENGINEER COST CONTROL – 926441

(Wahana)

Some of your duties will include:

• Provide budget project in accordance with approved design mine plan;

• Review progress, control and maintain cost as per budget; provide and review weekly and monthly costing report; provide forecasting report; set up monthly, yearly budget plan;

• Ensure cost in the right allocation in Infomine and JDE costing and provide journal report in monthly bases; ensure production data accurately reported for progress; check and review additional work/day work claim;

• Check explosive materials and accessories back charged by Client;

• Provide and communicate the weekly cost report to related department for any possible improvement; check and review daily costing of environment, survey, drill and blast and infrastructure division; review civil works/infrastructure progress and report variance cost against budget.

What skills and experience do you need?

• Minimum Bachelor degree in Economic, Civil, Industrial or Mining Engineering with minimum 3 years in the mining or construction industry in similar role as Engineer Cost Control and minimum 3 years in site based with demonstrated project management, cost control and planning skills;

• Proficient in Ms Project, Ms Office, and Desktop Publishing Package; proficient in Resources Analysis; proficient in Cost Control utilizing software such as JDE or other ERP will be additional advantage

• Good leadership, independent and mature personality, self-motivated, results driven and good negotiation skills; high initiative; performance driven; good planning skill; good communication skills and proficient in written and spoken English.
