We are currently taking applicants for the following position:

SHE SYSTEM ADMINISTRATION OFFICER

(Assignment: Batu Kajang, Kalimantan Timur)

Control and review the overall SHE Administration tasks through SHE database system such as Hazobs,  BBS, PTO, Inspection, PHASES, SHEMS and others in order to support SHE department in coordinating  general SHE activities efficiently conform to company’s goal and target zero accident.

Requirements:

• Min. Diploma degree of administration or secretary (preferable from Occupational SHE / K3)

• Min. 3 years experiences in SHE

• Excellence computer skill

• Fluent in English

• Willing to travel in all company’s sites

• Willing to work extended hours to meet the objectives.

• Good communication skill

• Having a good time management

Responsibilities:

• Preparing monthly SHE performance summary or report to Project / Business Line

• Assisting Superior in developing and summarizing monthly Project SHE report for Project Manager / GM

• Analyze causes of incident / injury case occurred in mining projects, hazobs, inspections, etc to be served in statistical form and micro analysis

• Monitor status outstanding actions of hazobs, incident / injury recommendations, inspections, audit, and remind sites the status to follow up

• Liaise with project SHE personnel in maintaining a good SHE documentation system in accordance with Petrosea Management System

• Monitor any changes of procedures and distributes it to related department in project sites

• Coordinate trial processes of new procedures before these are implemented and registered on Management System; and socialize the procedures that already exist and apply in the management system periodically to all site personnel.

• Ensure and maintain records of SHE performance and trend analyses are performed as required using the Phases database

• Create accurate SHE reporting to Project / Business Line in timely manner.

• Maintain and control Project / Business Line SHE Documentations and make sure it is available to all personnel

• Input Hazobs reported, inspections, minutes of SHE meetings, inductions record, PPE issue and register, and other SHE activities into Data base

• Analyze, monitor, and coordinate for the improvement of HSE System such as Hazobs, BBS, PTO, Inspection, PHASES, and New Initiatives on SHEMS and ensure the continuation & implementation of improvement progress.

• Maintain project / BL SHE data / files both hard and electronic files

• Prepare and execute the company’s SHE programs to ensure all program runs well and in line with company’s regulations and procedures

• Prepare Project SHE activity schedule and remind for the execution

• Performing a strong visible commitment in to SHE Management System as well as all programs

ELECTRICAL ESTIMATOR

(Placement: Jakarta)

To prepare detailed cost estimates the Company can have confidence in, all in accordance with Company procedures and accepted good practice for the industry. Actively assist the Estimating Team to continually enhance estimating procedures and processes. Actively contribute to a positive teamwork environment at all times.

Requirements:

• Min. 5 years working experiences, with minimum 2 years as an estimator. Preferably  has  experience in Material Handling Works and Electrical

• Min. Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering

• May require to be rotated as a Project Engineer on site once Petrosea can secure the project.

• Strong background in technical aspect of project site supervision, technical standard, method of work, calculation, and preferably also in design work

• Computer Literate (Ms. Office), MS Project, preferably also AutoCAD, Primavera, Tecla, Helix

• May require local & overseas travel for site visits as well as occasional short term assignments to work in other Petrosea / Indika offices, partner offices etc.

• Overtime working will be required from time to time

• May require acting as a Lead Estimator and/or Tender Manager

Responsibilities:

• Prepare estimates is PETS format in accordance with Petrosea’s procedures.

• Prepare and maintain electronic and hardcopy tender files in accordance with Company procedures.

• Prepare or arrange for detailed MTOs (quantity take-off) from tender documentation.

• Attend site visit and prepare detailed report of existing local conditions, available facilities and technical capabilities.

• Ensure the Estimate is built up methodically and in sufficient detail and is in accordance with good estimating practice. Sufficient explanatory notes are to be included referring the location of supplementary information.

• Ensure that a comprehensive Subcontract Enquiry Package is sent only to Company Approved Subcontractors for any “major subcontract” work. Terms and conditions of the Subcontract Package must be back to back with the head contract. Comprehensive Subcontract Enquiry Packages to be reviewed by all Division functional departments. 

• Ensure Subcontractor responses are properly evaluated and the results tabulated on a Subcontractor Bid Evaluation spreadsheet.

• Ensure (by working closely with the Lead Estimator) that the Indirect Cost Estimate is properly prepared and cost.

• Identifies (with the Bid Manager and Lead Estimator) the “big ticket” items in the Estimate and proactively works on these with the bid team with a value added outcome as the aim.

• Assist designated Planner in the preparation of the construction schedule, providing man hours and plant requirement for each activity and also indicating anticipated durations and minimum manning.

• Participate with the Lead Estimator and other Discipline Estimators in benchmarking productivities to be applied to the Estimate against recognized industry norms. The productivity uplift/discount shall be shown separately for each bill item in the estimate.

• Assist the Lead Estimator and Bid Manager in the identification, evaluation and ranking of risks as well as developing a strategy to manage and mitigate the risks to Company. R&O Matrix is to serve as the basis for estimating an appropriate contingency allowance for inclusion in the Cost Estimate.

• Ensure the Estimate Basis is “Current Cost” by utilizing the labour and staff rates prepared by the Estimating Manager and all material prices are from current quotations.

• Present for review by the Lead Estimator the Cost Estimate in detail prior to review of the tender by management.

• Assist Bid Manager with the preparation of a list of commercial and technical clarifications and qualifications to the proposal.

• Assist Bid Manager in completing Client’s pricing and technical tender schedules.

• When requested, carry out peer review of estimated compiled by other estimators and or divisions, checking for completeness, pricing accuracy and adequate manning and plant requirements.

• Responsible for continually maintaining and updating the database of estimating norms including feedback from past projects in Division Estimating and Norms Manual.From time to time work as a Bid Manager

ENVIRONMENT OFFICER

(Assignment: Batu Kajang, Kalimantan Timur)

Develop, monitor and evaluate Environment Management Plan, standard, process and procedures to enhance SHE performance within in term of preventing environmental pollution and others issues related with environmental accident, ensure all permit is proper, comply with government regulations and environmental continuous improvements in order to deliver operations excellence in the organization.

Requirements:

• Min. Bachelor degree in any disciplin, preferably from Environmental, Chemical Engineering, Forestry

• Min. 2 years experiences in same field

• Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills.

• Work extended hours for certain requirement

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Indonesian.

• Having strong SHE Leadership, knowledgeable to ISO 14001, PROPER, AMDAL

Responsibilities:

• Support Environmental performance, maintain our procedure (EMP & EMS) and third party accreditation (i.e. ISO 14001 and PROPERDA and PROPERNAS), and work effectively with certification body in order to preserve international standard accreditation.

• Develop project Environmental Management Plan and program meet and ensure comply with Client requirement.

• Manages environmental aspects of facilities by staying appraised of environmental concerns and advising departmental management of legal, guidelines, procedures, etc., to maintain environmental compliance.

• Deliver assurance process of Environmental Operational Control and Permit.

• Establish internal communication with the team and corporate.

• Establish external communication with relevant party.

• Lead, develop, monitor and evaluate SHE Excellent program such as HazOb, PTO, Inspection, HSE Committee meeting, Audit and etc.

• Comparison, study and reporting Reviews and researches legal changes and developments regarding environmental permits; develops long range environmental plans.

• Develop and monitor Environmental database development system and document system reliability assurance.

• Maintaining and implementing SHE programs including Environmental Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard and requirements.

MECHANICAL DESIGNER

(Assignment: Head Office)

Produce engineering drawings in order to perform engineering work requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria in carrying out a sequence of related engineering tasks.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in engineering with min 5 years experiences as Mechanical Designer or Piping Designer

• Proficiency in using AutoCAD Software

• Detailed understanding of the applicable international standards

• Ability to understand and create flow sheet diagram in the process design

Responsibilities:

• Prepare layouts, detail and isometric drawings using AutoCAD in collaboration with discipline engineers to ensure design intent and effectiveness is achieved

• Ensure all work produced complies with company standard operating procedures and standards.

• Coordinate and liaise with engineers to ensure all designs comply with engineers’ calculations and sketches

• Perform site assignments including field verification and site measurements in order to ensure accuracy

• Prepare and develop accurate MTO's from sketches or drawings

• Maintain and Implementing HSE programs, with objectives to apply official standard and requirements.

SENIOR ELECTRICAL & INSTRUMENT ENGINEER

(Assignment: Head Office)

Produce accurate engineering calculations and documents in order to perform engineering work requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria in carrying out a sequence of related engineering tasks; review & monitor engineering tasks progress and carry out the responsibilities of Superior when needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering

• Minimum 10 years experiences in electrical Engineering, and 5 years experiences as Senior Electrical Engineer

• Familiar with Engineering Software (ETAP)

• Meet Engineering deadlines

• Willing to travel to project site.

Responsibilities:

• Develop documents (Specifications, Data Sheets and Material Take Off) to ensure they adhere to client requirements, international Engineering standards and codes as well as company’s management system

• Prepare and conduct engineering calculations in order to produce calculations of consistent accuracy

• Prepare RFQ (Request for Quotations) packages and conduct TBE (Technical Bid Evaluations) in order to produce RFQ which conform to company’s procedures

• Review relevant interdisciplinary engineering documents accurately

• Operate engineering software packages and evaluate output in order to have an accurate result

• Support Business Development in estimating materials and costs required in a tender process

• Carry out the responsibilities of Superior or provide technical support/leadership on project

• Coordinate with engineers/designers regarding project electrical activities with utility and other disciplines for their area of responsibility

• Develop and maintain project schedule, progress reports, and cost estimates

• Ensure consistency and integrity of electrical design throughout project and review design for logic and functionality

• Develop detailed electrical specifications for the project

• Perform/witness test at project site for all specified electrical equipment/installation ad required

• Monitor pre-commissioning and start-up activities for electrical systems

• Perform engineering tasks and work with engineers and designers to provide electrical solutions for new design and potential improvement on existing designs

• Check and review electrical design as per QA/QC standards

• Perform assessment of and prepare its written reports documenting the existing electrical systems

• Interpret, explain, and carry out electrical engineering design, inspection, and construction methods and procedures

• Liaise with other professional engineering personnel, as well as contractors and their representatives

• Check and review detailed and complex electrical engineering plans, specifications, and related reports.

SENIOR MECHANICAL ENGINEER

(Assignment: Head Office/Site Based)

Direct and control the Mechanical/Piping engineering unit by providing leadership and support to the people in the unit to ensure that schedules, budgets and man-hours are achieved complies with company and client standards and procedures.

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor degree preferably in Mechanical Engineering

• Minimum 8 years experiences in handling Mechanical and Piping, process design and process engineering, Building structure.

• Strong Leadership

• Analytical thinking

• Excellence computer skill.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and review the quality of estimates produced by the Mechanical and Piping Engineering disciplines to ensure Engineering estimates are accurate, complete and deliver on time

• Plan, direct and review design activities produced by Mechanical and Piping Engineering disciplines to ensure designs are fit for purpose comply with budget, client and industry specifications in timely manner delivered

• Analyze and review contract to ensure the overall contract are comply with the scope of work and contract terms and conditions as they apply to mechanical and piping engineering

• Develop and maintain Mechanical and Piping engineering resources including coordinate the allocation of design work within the discipline group to ensure timely and efficient production of quality designs

• Control and coordinate the development of new ideas, methods and innovative designs through the application of quality, competitive mechanical and piping engineering in order to improve the company’s marketability, efficiency and profitability

• Establish, review and promote the Development Program for staff and graduate engineer, in order to develop and enhance their performance and motivation

• Establish and review timely progress report for Mechanical and Piping engineering activities for further analyze by Engineering Manager

• Maintain and implementing HSE programs including Environmental Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard and requirements.
