Martabe Gold Mine is managed and operated by PT Agincourt Resources. The mine covers an area of 30 km2 that falls under the sixth generation of Contract of Work (CoW) covering a total area of 1.303 km2.

The resource based on 31 December 2018 includes 8.1 Moz of Gold and 69 Moz of Silver, with economic ore reserves of 4.5Moz gold and 34Moz silver. Production commenced at Martabe on 24 July 2012. The operating capacity of Martabe Gold Mine is 5.9Mtpa ore to produce in excess of 350,000 oz of Gold and 2-3 Moz of Silver per annum.

PT Agincourt Resources engages approximately 2,600 employees and contractors which more than 70 % have been recruited from South Tapanuli and other regions in North Sumatra.

PT Danusa Tambang Nusantara (PTDTN) is the majority shareholder of PT Agincourt Resources with a total 95% of the shareholding. The shareholders of PTDTN are PT United Tractors Tbk 60% and PT Pamapersada Nusantara 40%. These companies are part of the PT Astra International Tbk group. The 5% share ownership is owned by the Government of South Tapanuli Regency and North Sumatra Province (local governments). 

To strengthen the existing maintenance management team and to ensure the achievement of the company objectives, the Martabe Gold Mine is looking for candidate to fill the role:

DRAFTER ENGINEER (MPD 2012033)

This position will be based at Martabe Site in Martabe Project Development Department, and reports directly to Superintendent Tailings Project Development.

The role of the Drafter Engineer is supporting the TMF1 technical team for modelling the construction sequence, preparing material estimation to support weekly, monthly and annual planning, and supporting costing analysis. The person will be responsible of collecting, validating and managing relevant field data with the aim to produce “as-built” drawings and validating construction to design intent.

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:

1. Diploma or BSc in Civil Engineering.

2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in operating 3D (12D/Surpac/3D Cad) drafting software

3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in the construction field.

4. Membership of Engineers Association

5. Have POP Certificate (preferable)

6. Good Communicator

7. Proactive in safety.

SENIOR TAILINGS ENGINEER-GEOLOGY (MPD 2012034)

This position will be based at Martabe Site in Martabe Project Development Department, and reports directly to Superintendent Tailings Project Development.

The role of the Senior Tailings Engineer-Geology is managing and carrying out the foundation and embankment preparation of TMF1 including support technical team. The person will also act as an additional resource for aspects of TMF1 construction as required. The role will ensure all relevant aspects of foundation and embankment preparation are met including foundation mapping and recording, and ensuring stability and design intent are attained.

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:

1. BSc in Geology.

2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in geology mapping

3. Membership of Engineers Association

4. POP Certificate (preferable)

5. Certificate as Professional Engineer from reputable institution

6. Experience working in Dam construction (preferable)

7. Good Communicator

8. Proactive in safety.

SENIOR TAILINGS ENGINEER-HYDROLOGY (MPD 2012035)

This position will be based at Martabe Site in Martabe Project Development Department, and reports directly to Superintendent Tailings Project Development.

The role of the Senior Tailings Engineer-Hydrology is managing and carrying out hydrological studies for TMF1 and support technical team. The person will also act as an additional resource for aspects of TMF1 construction as required. The role will ensure all relevant hydrological studies for TMF1 are appropriately managed and carried out and to a level that they meet all regulatory requirements and up to Hydrology recognize standards.

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:

1. BSc in Hydrology or Civil Engineering.

2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in Hydrology work and Design

3. Membership of Engineers Association

4. POP Certificate (preferable)

5. Certificate as Professional Engineer from reputable institution

6. Experience working in Dam construction (preferable)

7. Good Communicator

8. Proactive in safety.
