Copper Gold Mining Company – Finance; 2 Positions

An Indonesian mining company which operates the copper and gold mining and have a long-term expected mine life followed by processing stockpiles.

To support our expansion project, we are looking for highly motivated and experienced professional to fill the following position:

SENIOR SPECIALIST ASSET INSURANCE & RISK MANAGEMENT

(National - Site Based)

Some of your duties will include:

Insurance relevant to company Operation and Projects, including;

- Claim :

a) Monitor the accident report to see if there’s any potential claim should be follow up.

b) Assist the asset appraisal process for the insurable asset (coordinate the visit, data compilation, take the asset appraiser for site tour)

c) Assist with the accident investigation to find the root cause of accident event that can triggered insurance claim

d) Assist with the insurance claim submission process until completion.

e) Work together with SCM Dept. and Internal Audit for asset recovery from the accident resulting in total loss claim (e.g. tender to sell the salvage asset)

f) Review and ensure the accuracy of the asset appraisal report from the asset appraisal consultant.

- Extension and Renewal

a) Assist in monitoring the company sum insured and follow up with the insurance broker for any increase from the original sum insured.

b) Assist with the extension / renewal process of the company insurance policy prior to the expiration date.

c) Assist the risk engineer survey activity at site and review and follow up the recommendation from the survey.

- Insurance Control

a) Assist with the development of Business Continuity Plan and Business Continuity Management.

b) Collaborates with various departments for risk mitigation and to review and assess the level of risk in our operation to avoid the property damage type of accident.

 What skills and experience do you need?

• College/University Degree with minimum 10 years’ experience related with insurance broker or loss adjuster background.

• Strong understanding and application of risk management principles.

• Financial knowledge and commercially minded, innovative mindset and openness to new ideas.

• Proficient to advanced skills with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).

• Strong communication skills in Bahasa and English (written and verbal) and formal presentations skills.

• Has related certification required for this position.

• Ability to self-direct, analyze and evaluate and form independent judgements.

• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through; Team player with positive attitude and strong work ethic; Ability to effectively interact and build relationships with senior management and external stakeholders; Commercially savvy with ability to exercise discretion with respect to highly confidential/sensitive information; Integrity, ethical standards and sound judgment.

FINANCIAL REPORTING ANALYST

(National - Site Based)

Some of your duties will include:

• Research, analyze and formulate initial solution or summarization on various accounting matters primarily related to how transactions on financial report were recorded and how they should have been recorded.

• Complete the month end close procedures ensuring that all other departments have completed their assigned responsibilities in a timely manner.

• Ensuring that all calculation that General Ledger has been prepared are accurately and follow the standard.

• Ensure the transactions completed by other areas and reported appropriate.

• Prepared and compile required monthly financial reports in compliance with corporate and internal requirements.

• Prepare and ensure that general ledger accounts are reconciled in a timely manner.

• Utilize BPC, Ellipse, Brio, Smart view and MS Office as a working and reporting tools.

• Ensure financial data are promptly loaded and calculated into BPC.

• Ensure that Sox stuffs are prepared in a timely manner.

• Ensure that other department and other section in Finance prepare their Sox in a timely manner.

• Prepare aging report of trade receivables.

• Prepare government royalty calculation periodically and assist the payment process quarterly.

• Prepare reconciliation of GL accounts such as trade receivable, metal sales and government royalty accounts in a timely manner.

• Prepare sales disclosures for the annual or quarter audit reports.

• Fully utilizing Mineman system for metal sales.

• Prepare weekly exchange rate for f/x transactions.

• Input Production Statistic and Financial Data into BPC.

• Prepare Post Close, Flux Analysis in BPC format for corporate purposes.

• Prepare ad-hoc reporting and analysis for Corporate, Site Management or Finance management special projects.

• To ensure that financial information has been accurately recorded by all of the other accounting areas

• Assist Sr. Supt. Financial Reporting as a Sox Champion to support Sox related works.

What skills and experience do you need?

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting

• Having experience 10 years in Financial Accounting in mining and Public Accountant

• Having experience in manage, monitoring and reconciliation on GL activities transactions, financial operations and and general ledger, and or equivalent experience

• Having good knowledge in control and monitor metal sales valuation, mineman system, or similar

• Previous experience in SAP ERP – FICO module would be preferable;

• Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written and computer literate.

• Require to work on a Site and willing to live at Site.
