Manager Permit

Work Location: Sorowako For National Recruitment

 

Job Purpose

Lead the required efforts to obtain the major permits and licenses for the Indonesia Growth Program in Sorowako, Bahodopi and Pomalaa. This will include the Government Feasibility Study (FS), Analisa Dampak Lingkungan (Amdal/Environment License), Forestry Permit and others for PTVI mine and processing plants with the JV partners to be obtained within the given timeline, aligned with the Project Master Schedule. The major permits are mandatory for the project approval. The role holder is also responsible for tracking future regulatory changes and assessing impact on the company.

Main Accountabilities

1. Develop the strategy to obtain the required permits and licenses for the Indonesia Growth Program in timely manner and with good quality that is required for the project approval process.

2. Interact with the technical and commercial teams as the users to define the requirements to obtain the required permis and licenses for the project. The users include mining, engineering teams, JV partners and consultants.

3. Lead and manage the team for document preparations, studies and efforts to obtain the Government FS, Amdal, Forestry Permit and other permits for the IGP in Sorowako, Bahodopi and Pomalaa from the central and regional government bodies.

4. Act as the permit holder for the Growth Projects and maintain the validity of the permits for IGP to ensure the permits are always valid so that the operation can continue without disruptions.

5. Inform the users on the conditions of the obtained permits & licenses and monitor the compliance of its implementation.

6. Liaise with the 2nd and 3rd line of defense for regulatory tracking & evaluation, internal procedures, training, audits, inspections and legal advice to ensure the permits and licenses are always current and updated.

7. Liaise, establish and maintain relationships with relevant bodies such as local authorities, public bodies and competent bodies so that the organization interests can be properly communicated.

8. Ensure that the permitting team develops, gains consensus on, and executes a strategy to improve permitting speed, cost and quality, specifically accounting for the impact on downstream activities.

Requirements:

1. Undergraduate degree in engineering.

2. Minimum 7 years working experience in relevant job.

3. Minimum 3 years working experience as a leader.
