Adaro reopens C. Kalimantan coking coal mine

IDX-listed coking coal firm PT Adaro Mineral Indonesia Tbk (IDX: ADMR) is working to re-establish its Haju mine in Central Kalimantan.

The Company said in its 2022 Annual Report filed with the IDX last week that the selected mining contractor has started the mobilization of equipment and key personnel and the construction for hauling infrastructure is underway.

The Company did not give further details.

Haju mine is located within PT Lahai Coal, one of the five concessions owned by ADMR in Central and East Kalimantan.

The mine’s last reported production was in 2019 at   930,000 tonnes.
