Copper, gold miner and smelter PT Amman Mineral Internasional Tbk (IDX: AMMN) disclosed on Sunday that President Director Alexander Ramlie has submitted his resignation, effective June 14, 2025. The company plans to propose his appointment as a Commissioner during its Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) scheduled for June 16, 2025.
In the same meeting, the company will seek shareholder approval to appoint Arief Widyawan Sidarto as the new President Director.
According to the official disclosure to the Financial Services Authority (OJK) and the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), the company stated that the proposed leadership changes are in accordance with OJK regulations and the company’s Articles of Association. The transition is not expected to have a negative impact on Amman Mineral’s operational or financial performance.
Arief Widyawan Sidarto, currently a Director at Amman Mineral, is a Singaporean citizen with a background in financial services and corporate leadership. He began his career at Goldman Sachs New York in 1991 and later led the firm’s investment banking operations in Southeast Asia. He also served as a member of Goldman Sachs’ Commitment Committee, responsible for reviewing investment banking transactions across Asia (excluding Japan).

Before joining Amman Mineral in 2021, Arief was a Managing Director and board member at Rajawali Corpora, an Indonesian conglomerate with investments in palm oil, mining, hospitality, infrastructure, transportation, and media. At Rajawali, he held roles on various committees including Finance and Investment, Audit, Ethics, Risk Management, and the Management Board.
Arief holds dual bachelor's degrees in finance and engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, graduating summa cum laude, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Alexander Ramlie, one of the co-founders of Amman Mineral, currently serves as CEO and played a leading role in the company’s acquisition of PT Newmont Nusa Tenggara (now PT Amman Mineral Nusa Tenggara) in 2016.
