Antam, Bank Panin agree to extend loan maturity

PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (Antam) and PT Bank Panin have agreed to extend the maturity of the US$100 loan facility provided by the bank to the state mining company to November 30, 2012 from November 30, 2011, Bisnis Indonesia reported.

According to the company?s financial report submitted to the Indonesian Stock Exchange, the amendment for the lending agreement was signed on January 31, 2012.

On November 30, 2010, Bank Panin agreed to provide a loan worth $100 million to Antam with a maturity period of one year and interest rate of 1.5 percent a year.

?On January 31, we signed an amendment of the credit agreement in which the loan maturity has been extended to November 30, 2012 from November 30, 2011,? the mining company said. (*)
