IDX-listed nickel miner PT Central Omega Resources Tbk (IDX: DKFT) reported a sharp increase in profitability in 2025, supported by higher nickel sales and improved operational efficiency amid stable global prices for the battery metal.
The company booked net profit of Rp574.39 billion in 2025, up 38.44% year-on-year from Rp414.9 billion in the previous year, according to its audited financial results released on March 16.
Revenue also climbed to Rp1.58 trillion, marking a 7.87% increase from Rp1.46 trillion in 2024, reflecting stronger sales volumes despite relatively stable production levels.
The growth was driven largely by rising nickel ore shipments, as global demand for nickel — a key material in stainless steel and electric vehicle batteries — remained robust.

Nickel ore production in 2025 was 2.92 million tons, slightly down from 2.95 million tons in 2024, but sales volumes surged 16.6% to 3.03 million tons, indicating stronger market absorption.
The company also recorded rapid growth in its limestone business, with production rising 165.8% to 418,838 tons and sales increasing 73.96% to 252,734 tons.
Director Feni Silviani Budiman said the results reflected a combination of aggressive market penetration and strict operational efficiency, which helped maximize profitability and deliver value to stakeholders.
The company aims to maintain the growth momentum in the coming years as demand for nickel remains strong, particularly from the electric vehicle supply chain.
