Danantara forms new resources holding company

Indonesia’s sovereign wealth fund Danantara has established a new holding company named Danantara Sumberdaya Indonesia to oversee activities in the resources sector, according to company establishment documents.

The company officially received approval from the Law Ministry under decree number AHU-0039765.AH.01.01.Tahun 2026 on May 19, 2026.

The documents show the company was established under Deed No. 98 dated May 18, 2026, and is headquartered at Wisma Danantara Indonesia in South Jakarta.

PT Danantara Sumberdaya Indonesia is registered under KBLI 64200 for holding company activities. Its business scope includes holding and controlling subsidiary assets as well as providing advisory and negotiation services related to mergers and acquisitions.

According to the documents, Luke Thomas Mahony was appointed as director, while Harold Jonathan Dharma TJ serves as commissioner.

Shareholding composition shows that PT Danantara Investment Management holds 99 Series A shares valued at Rp24.75 million, while PT Danantara Mitra Sinergi owns one Series B share worth Rp250,000.

The establishment of the new entity comes as Danantara expands its organizational structure and investment platform across strategic sectors in Indonesia’s economy, including natural resources and downstream industries.
