Freeport Indonesia names new president

US mining giant Freeport McMoRan?s Indonesian subsidiary said on Friday that it has named Rozik B. Soetjipto as new President of PT Freeport Indonesia, President and Chief Executive Officer of Freeport-McMoRan Inc. Richard C Adkerson announced on Friday.
Rozik Soetjipto who served as Public Works Minister during late President Abdurrahman Wahid presidency will replace Armando Mahler, who served as Chief Operating Officer and President of PT Freeport Indonesia since 2006 and will now act as an Advisor to the Executive Committee, Adkerson said as reported by detik.com.
