Indo Mines appoints a new director

ASX-listed Indo Mines Limited said it had appointed Zhang, Xiangqing as a non-executive Director.
The company said on Tuesday that Zhang, who has extensive operational and management experience in the iron and steel industry, is the founder, owner and current chairman of Rockcheck Steel Group Co., Ltd (Rockcheck).
Rockcheck, located in Tianjin , People?s Republic of China , is a major shareholder of Indo Mines with a current shareholding of 17.8%.
Zhang has been presented with several prestigious awards during his career including the ?Outstanding Science & Technology Private Entrepreneurs Award? and the ?Excellent Entrepreneur Award? in 2004 and the ?Tianjin Excellence Entrepreneur Award? in 2005 by the Tianjin People?s Government.
Zhang was previously a non-executive director of ASX listed Aurox Resources Limited prior to its merger with Atlas Iron Limited.
Indo Mines Chairman, Christopher Catlow said the Company is delighted to have Zhang joining the Board.
?Rockcheck is one of China ?s largest privately owned iron and steel producers. Zhang brings significant steel making expertise to the Indo Mines Board, as well as a track record of implementing large capital investment projects,? he said.
