Killara starts geophysical survey in Belu
Thursday, December 1 2011 - 07:38 AM WIB
Australia-listed exploration firm Killara Resources Limited commenced the ground based geophysical survey, consisting of widely spaced dipole - dipole IP traverses, on its 80% owned Belu Manganese Project in mid October 2011.
The survey was subsequently delayed due to failure of the geophysical equipment, with the survey recommencing in mid November 2011 upon replacement of the faulty equipment.
Two survey lines were completed across Target 2, however due to delays in securing access to the northern concession and the impending wet season it has been decided to suspend the survey. The survey lines proposed to test Target I have therefore not been completed and it is intended to reschedule this work to be undertaken after the wet season.
Data from the two lines completed across Target 2 is being reviewed by Killara?s contract geophysicist and will be reported to shareholders when it becomes available. (romel)
