Minister to award three oil and gas contracts on Thursday

Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Purnomo Yusgiantoro would award two production sharing contracts (PSC) and one technical assistance contract (TAC) on Thursday, industry sources said.
The sources told Petromindo the PSCs would be awarded to Chevron Kisaran Ltd and Texaco Kisaran Ltd for the Kisaran block in North Sumatra and to Coparex BV for the Banyumas block in Central Java.
The TAC would be awarded to Buana Satpetra Sebasa Ltd for the Mambang Sebasa field in South Sumatra.
The sources said the awarding ceremony of the contracts would be held at the ministry.
