The Ministry of Public Works is accelerating technical planning for the construction of the Serpong to Bogor toll road via Parung, a 32 kilometer project aimed at improving connectivity and logistics efficiency across Greater Jakarta.
Public Works Minister Dody Hanggodo said the project’s technical planning phase is nearing completion, with progress approaching 80 percent.
“The project is currently still in the technical planning preparation stage, with progress nearing 80 percent. We continue to accelerate the process so that the planning phase can be completed this year,” Dody said during a media briefing in Jakarta on Friday.
The Serpong to Bogor toll road via Parung carries an estimated investment value of Rp12.35 trillion (US$697.7 million) and will be developed under a public private partnership scheme without state budget support.

Once operational, the toll road is expected to cut travel time between Bogor and Tangerang to around 45 minutes, easing congestion and supporting smoother movement of goods and people in the Jakarta metropolitan area.
The project will feature two main junctions at Salabenda and Serpong, as well as interchanges at Pondok Udik, Putat Nutug, and Rumpin.
Construction will be carried out by PT Bogor Serpong Infra Selaras, a consortium comprising PT Jasa Marga, PT Adhi Karya, PT Hutama Karya Infrastruktur, and PT Persada Utama Infra. The consortium has secured a 40 year concession period for the toll road.
