Shell has appointed Andri Pratiwa as president director and country chair of its Indonesia operations, effective May 1, the company said.
He will replace Ingrid Siburian and will continue to serve as general manager of lubricants Indonesia alongside his new role.
The leadership transition comes as Shell focuses on expanding its lubricants business in Indonesia and continues the previously announced divestment of its retail fuel station business to a joint venture between Citadel Pacific Limited and Sefas Group.

Andri said Shell Indonesia is entering a new phase of development, with ongoing investments in its lubricants segment.
He added that the company is expanding its manufacturing capabilities, including a grease production facility that complements its existing lubricants plant in Marunda.
Shell said it aims to continue working with partners, government and customers to support long-term business development in Indonesia.
