SMI joins Rp49 trillion loan for in Journey Group

State infrastructure financing firm PT Sarana Multi Infrastruktur (SMI) said it has joined a syndicate of 19 banks to provide Rp49 trillion, equivalent to about $3.1 billion, in financing to the InJourney Group.

SMI’s portion amounts to Rp7.3 trillion, or roughly $460 million, representing 14.8% of the total facility, the company said in a social media post.

The financing will be extended to PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia, PT Aviasi Pariwisata Indonesia, PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur and PT Bhumi Visatanda Indonesia, all part of the InJourney Group.

PT Aviasi Pariwisata Indonesia, known as InJourney, is a state owned holding company in the aviation and tourism sector. It acts as a strategic holding and tourism orchestrator, consolidating businesses across airports, hospitality, destination management and retail.

The syndicated credit agreement was signed on Feb. 13, 2026. PT SMI said the financing is aimed at strengthening Indonesia’s tourism ecosystem and supporting economic growth in line with the government’s development agenda.
