Indonesia's tin export decreased significantly on monthly basis by 17.35 percent to US$ 171,130,226 in April, Director of Statistic Distribution of the National Statistic Bureau (BPS) Satwiko Darmesto said on Friday.
The export volume of the commodity was also down significantly by 17.06 percent to 8,980,249 kilogram in April compared to the previous month, Satwiko said.
The decline in exports was mainly due to price decline at the international market, he told Petromindo.com.
The cumulative value of tin exports in the first four months dropped by 24.85 percent to US$707,626,466 on yearly basis, he said.
