Unocal hands over infrastructure facilities to local govt

Oil and gas company PT Unocal Indonesia Company handed over on Thursday infrastructure facilities worth some Rp 12 billion (US$1=Rp 11,400) to the East Kalimantan Kutai Kertanegara district administration, the local Kaltim Post daily reported.
The paper said that the infrastructure facilities include a policlinic building, a 16-Km road, a 420-meter bridge, and dormitory for local police.
The paper said that the infrastructure facilities were part of the company's 2000-2001 community development program.
The facilities were symbolically handed over to deputy regent Samsuri Aspar.(*)
