The following description of the position, qualifications and requirements:

21. C & I Supervisor (Code: C&I Spv)

a. Department  : Electrical Maintenance

b. Superior/User  : C & I Leader

c. Subordinate  : C & I Technician

d. Education   : Diploma (D3) in Electrical, Electronics or Instrumentation. Senior Technical High School with Experiences more than seven (7) years as C & I Technicians or Bachelor Degree (S1) with minimum four (4) years of experience in large capacity of Coal Fired Power Station (>400 MW).

e. Work Experience  : Minimum seven (7) years’ experience at C & I maintenance supervisory level or senior Technicians in Power Generation.

f. Key tasks and responsibilities include:

• Perform and Supervise all Preventive Maintenance (PM) Corrective Maintenance (CM) Work base on CMMS work order issued to Technicians and base on maintenance procedure and instruction, for the scope of C & I apparatus, based on Annual Budget and Operating Plan.

• Supervise and control quality and safety for contractors during Major Maintenance overhaul or outage work and daily maintenance work.

• Collect and keep all data record of repair, testing and measurement result of C & I equipments.

• Report all significant known operational, design, equipment deficiencies/defects to C & I Leader and record it into CMMS work order.

• Perform periodic maintenance inspections to identify and report status of equipment and system deficiencies.

• Develop of technicians capability and knowledge by technical, safety and non technical training (initial training of newly recruited, general technical, emergency response, first aid, general safety, maintenance procedure, administration procedure etc.)

• During mobilization period, take part in testing and commissioning and record the specification of equipments and test result in correct record database.

• Maintain work order hardcopy file in database and fulfill work order Leadering comment in CMMS.

• Maintain of Permit To Work (PTW) and company safety & environment rule implementation in maintenance daily activity.

• Support of technician work for fault troubleshooting and analysis to the critical problem in main equipments.

• Monitor and maintain high standard for C & I maintenance work refer to quality, safety, efficiency and effectiveness concern.

• Develop C & I maintenance work check sheet and instruction, to be reviewed by Leader.

• Conduct routine daily safety and technical tool box meeting before distribute work order to technicians.

• Propose to Leader about some C & I maintenance works plan which to be schedulled and conducted on next outage period.

• Propose to Leader about some new critical spare parts to be added and stocked in CMMS database and Store.

22. Electrical Supervisor (Code: EL Spv)

a. Department  : Maintenance Electrical

b. Superior/User : Maintenance Electrical Leader

c. Subordinate  : Maintenance Electrical Staff

d. Education  : Minimum Diploma (D3), Bachelor Degree (S1) is preferable in Electrical Eng.,

e. Work Experience : Minimum 7 years’ experience in electrical maintenance supervisory level in Power Generation, including sub-station facilities

f. Key tasks and responsibilities include:

• Preparation of maintenance plans for the electrical apparatus, such as LV/HV motors, LV/HV bus bars and switchgear, Generator including it’s IPB, Transformers, sub-station, emergency diesel generators and DC systems,  etc., based on Annual Budget Operating Plan

• Monitoring and controlling of maintenance performance in terms of minimizing down time, optimizing the costs, perform effective maintenance tasks, and continuously improving competency maintenance team.

• Support in developing equipment criticality assessments for prioritizing the maintenance activities and determination of necessary spare parts.

• Analyzing of any defect and or abnormality report of the equipment to determine any corrective maintenance required to be taken.

• Managing the team in order to improve maintainability of the equipment.

• Close coordination with Engineering Dept. in relation to the PdM activities.

• Close coordination with Engineering Dept. in relation to the re-certification of Plant’s worthiness or other re-certification required by authorized institutions.

• Close coordination with Engineering and Procurement Dept. for managing 3rd party contracts/contractors

• Monitoring and supervision of third-party contractor activities as required during outages and exceptional maintenance activities.

• Provide and encourage time to time development of team’s knowledge and skill.

• Supporting Electrical Leader by preparing fault reports, updating spare parts status and tools management

23. Turbine Mechanical Supervisor (Code: TBM Spv)

a. Department  : Mechanical Maintenance

d. Education  : Diploma degree (D3) in Mechanical Eng., (Senior Technical High School with Experiences more than 10 years as Turbine Mechanical Technicians in large capacity of Coal Fired Power Station (>400 MW) is encouraged to apply)

e. Work Experience : Minimum 7 years experience at mechanical maintenance supervisory level or senior Technicians in power generation, especially Turbine and its auxiliary system

f. Key tasks and responsibilities include:

24. Chemical Engineer (Code: CHE Eng)

d. Education  : Minimum Bachelors Degree, Majoring Chemical

   Engineering with min GPA 3.00

e. Work Experience : Minimum 7 years in the position of Chemical Engineer in a large-scale industry, preferably from Electric Power Generation, Oil & Gas, or Mining industries.

f. Key tasks and responsibilities include:

• Meeting of all Chemical Parameters applicable to water and steam Processing activities in 2x1000 MW Coal Fired Steam Power Plant Tanjung Jati B Jepara and shall conduct the quality control activities during Hydro test of boiler Water Tubes, Monitoring during Boiler Chemical Cleaning and doing Inspection of Boiler tubes after Boiler Chemical Cleaning, and to ensure water and steam quality shall be in good condition during Boiler first firing and throughout Normal operation.

• inspection and monitoring during project phase in Water Treatment & Waste Water Treatment Plant, such as Pre-Treatment Water, Sea Water Desalination, Membrane Reverse Osmosis, Ion Exchange De-mineralized Water, Harbin Electrical - Chlorination Water and Sea Water Intake System, Including commissioning of Water Treatment and Waste Water Treatment.

• Arrangement for collection and analysis of samples on a regular basis, and reporting on all non-conformance reports for Water Treatment Plant, Waste Water Treatment Plant regarding construction works, and ensuring that all NCRs are done through a single channel and thus to ensure all NCRs are well controlled.

• Managing and Controlling the operational activities of chemical laboratories (Coal Analysis, Boiler Water & Steam Analysis, Water Treatment Plant & Waste Water Treatment Plant Analysis),

• Implement Quality Control for chemical substances, such as lubricants, resins, reagents etc. to ensure its operated within normal parasmeters .

• Provision and reviewing of All Standard Operating Procedure regarding Chemical Plant activity.

• Controlling and maintaining adequate stocks of necessary chemicals for day to day activities.

• Development of Annual planning, budgeting, reporting and forecasting in cooperation with other departments.

• Monitoring and controlling of contractors and subcontractors to ensure work quality is according to contract specification and meeting the  minimum standards.

• Supervision and guidance of Chemist and assistant chemists, including third party contractor’s personnel.

• Reviewing & managing of chemical corrosion aspects of plant systems including Seawater Cooling, Closed Cooling, Water & Steam, and Service and Potable Water.

25. Engineer (Code: ENG)

a. Department  : Engineering

b. Superior/User  : Engineering Leader

c. Subordinate  : -

d. Education  : Degree (S1) Fresh graduate are welcome or Diploma (D-3) in mechanical engineering, Electrical engineering, instrumentation.

e. Work Experience : Minimum two (2) years or equivalent experience in Engineering and/or Maintenance Department in providing mechanical engineering services in the field of thermal power plant, or on chemical or petro plants.

f. Position overview : The Engineer (Turbine engineer, Boiler engineer, C &I engineer, BOP, Electrical) supports the Engineering Leader in developing the Plant Equipment Criticality assessment for equipment related to Steam Turbine as the plant systems and technical specialist support personnel. They develop procedures to ensure the long-term plant health through the prudent functionality of the Engineering Department.

g. Key tasks and responsibilities include:

• Participating in the team of plant engineers, in supporting the programme in pursuit of plant long-term welfare

• Development and generation of necessary procedures covering plant engineering and change management aspects

• Writing of plant change scheme specifications, while ensuring the application of effective codes and standards

• Executing, monitoring and controlling CM, PM and PdM maintenance items based on plant criticality, in terms of minimizing down time, by proposing effective maintenance tasks

• Support of the Maintenance team members in resolving technical deviations and investigating and developing the reports of any incidences

• Support with the technical evaluations of tender submissions

• Assisting with the development of feasibility studies including return on investment, and cost-benefit analysis

• Administration of Computerized Maintenance Management System (MAXIMO)

• Provide training to Maintenance group members on the proper use of CMMS

• Providing plant monitoring and evaluation support of life-cycle evaluation and surveillance services.

26. Enviromental Staff (Code: ENVS)

a. Departement  : HSE

b. Superior/User  : Enviromental Leader

d. Education  : Minimum Diploma (D3), majoring in Engineering (Environment, Electrical or Mechanical) or Public Health.

e. Work Experience : For Diploma (D3), minimum 1 year in Staff Level. For Bachelor Degree, fresh graduate is encouraged to apply.

f. Key tasks and responsibilities include:

• Having good knowledge in Environmental Management System and AMDAL.

• To execute regular Environmental promotion activities.

• To facilitate activities related to Environmental campaign.

• To facilitate Environmental Safety orientation, training and socialization.

• To conduct inspection related to Environmental Safety.

• To provide data and information as the result of inspection and incident investigation.

• To provide data regarding the daily compliance and the enforcement of Environmental Safety rules in the Company’s daily operation.

• To provide data related to the fulfillment of activity and/or equipment permits and/or licenses to comply with applicable regulation.

• To prepare data and information in order to compose reports based on government regulation.

• To conduct test or evaluation of Environmental Safety standards (regulations, procedures, equipment, etc.)

• To support periodical Environmental Audit.

27. Performance Staff (Code: PERS)

a. Departement  : Operation Dept.

b. Superior/User  : Performance Engineer/Leader

c. Subordinate  :  -

d. Education  : Diploma, majoring in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

e. Position Overview : The Performance Staff are support of the Performance Engineer and their focus is on the enhancement of overall plant performance, to ensure that the Plant is able to meet its commercial and technical performance targets, while safe-guarding the long-term plant health.

f. Work Experience :  Minimum 3 years in the role off engineering in a large Thermal Electric Power Generation Plant.

g. Key tasks and responsibilities include:

• Developing guidelines, operating instructions, manuals, and procedures, based on equipment manufacturers manuals, for the safe & efficient operations, as well as safeguarding and improving plant reliability, work availability and environmental performance.

• Supporting the planning and executing for monitoring production schedule regarding plant operation performance to meet management, PPA, and business plan objectives, including production quotas and fuel consumption.

• Monitoring & evaluation of Plant Efficiency and electricity production and advise Plant Operations and Engineering of any deficiencies and deviations from normal conditions.

• Conducting measurements and sampling, evaluating & providing reports on Plant Emission Monitoring & Control and advise management of deviations from normal performance, while always seeking methods for improving overall plant performance.

• Undertaking regular testing of main plant and plant auxiliaries (e.g. Net Dependable Capacity, PF sampling, air heater leakage, feed-water heater performance, FGD performance, condenser vacuum, Auxiliary Power consumption etc).

• Reporting and documentation including intellectual property and archiving data and information.

28. Shift Staff Plant Operator (Code: PLOP)

a. Departement  : Operation Dept.

b. Superior/User  : Unit Controller

c. Subordinate  :  -

d. Education  : Minimum Technical High School plus Power Plant study, Diploma (D3) or Bachelor Degree is preferable, in Mechanical Eng., Electrical Eng., or Chemical Eng.

e. Work Experience :  Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in Coal Fired Power Plant. Fresh graduate with suitable educational background are welcome to apply.

f. Key tasks and responsibilities include:

• Preparation and periodical review of Standard Operation Procedures for sub systems and or systems operation.

• Patrol work and operation of the sub systems and or systems, including start up and shut down in safe, reliable, efficient manner while ensuring environmental compliance, including system periodic operation switching and it’s confirmation testing.

• Provision of trouble shooting and or proposals for efficiency improvements on sub systems and or systems operation, to the Unit Controller.

• Communicate to the Unit Controllers for any findings of defect and or abnormality of the sub systems and / or systems.

• Periodic secondment for training as Fire Fighting team member, whenever required

29. Training Staff (Code: TRS)

a. Department  : Engineering Dept.

b. Superior/User  : Training Leader

c. Subordinate  : -

d. Education  : Bachelor Degree (S1) in Psychology, Education, Administration, Industrial Eng., and/or engineering, either mechanical or electrical.

e. Work Experience : Minimum 3 years’ experience organizing employee training. Having understanding of Power Generation training, including statutory training for competency certification and or license will be preferable.

f. Key tasks and responsibilities include:

• Provision of support in preparing and developing training and competency matrix for all positions within the company organization to suit, as per Departmental training need analysis, including if any internal and mandatory training.

• Provide support in organizing the individual training interventions of each employee, , including the maintaining of records and assessment and feedback of the effectiveness of the training and results acquired.

• Provide support in communicating with the authorized institutional bodies to determine if any statutory training and or certification requirements are to be undertaken taken by the employees within Power Generation business.

• Taking care of, and ensuring that the Power Plant simulator training facility is readily available for utilization, and adequately applied, with new operating situations being installed as and when there are plant operating occurrences.

• Providing support to BJP CSR Department in developing or obtaining suitable training and or education programs for use in the community.

30. Chemical Staff (Code: CS)

a. Superior/User :  Station Chemist

b. Subordinate  :  -

c. Education  : Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree/ Diploma in Science / Chemistry

d. Work Experience :  Fresh Graduate Minimum 1 - 2 years in the position of Chemical Engineer in a large-scale industry, preferably from Electric Power Generation, Oil & Gas, or Mining industries

e. Key tasks and responsibilities include:

• Assist Chemical Engineer to preparation and periodical review of Standard Operation Procedures for sub systems and or systems operation.

Sampling as required and analyze the quality of boiler water, make up water system, cooling water circuit, water treatment, wastewater treatment and associated system.

• Monitoring and collecting data of chemistry parameter or chemical constituents include condition operation of unit operation. Ensures reliability and performance of laboratory instrumental to support analytical required to plant operation.

• Sampling of Coal Analysis According to ASTM/ISO standard, Analysis and evaluate the data and do preliminary investigation. Responsible to take corrective action following procedure and standard guide line.

• Communication and or coordination with the Unit Control Operators, Water Treatment & Waste Water Treatment Operators, Coal Handling Operators, or Maintenance staff to ensure cooperation for Sampling water analysis, Coal Sampling and Analysis.
