Position: Specialist, Marketing Analyst

Work Location: Head Office, Jakarta

This position is permanent position under PT Vale Eksplorasi Indonesia. The successful candidate will work on Head Office, Jakarta.

Purpose of the Role:

The Specialist, Marketing Analysis will provide market (demand/supply) analysis and insights on all commodities Vale Base Metals is engaged in (nickel, copper, cobalt, PM, PGMs, OPMs, and any other commodities Vale Base Metals currently produces or sells and considers as part of acquisition) as directed by Head of Marketing for the geographical region, end-uses(s) and product(s) assigned.

Accountabilities:

• Maintain and improve comprehensive models that track market KPIs, archive historic and projected future demand by region and segment as assigned by Market Manager – models must be aligned with Market specific views (updated monthly/quarterly), and also consider IBP expectations (24 month, monthly time horizon) and strategy (annual 2 to 10+ year time horizon) .

• Contribute to on-going internal reporting (weekly, monthly, quarterly, paper and live) to executive audience, internal broader audience, external audience (customer, government, analysts and investors).

• Participate in appropriate discussions around market opportunities and threats to support short-term and long-term business and strategic planning, including regulatory or technological shocks.

• Engage with commercial sales, technical marketing (product managers) and Business Development experts for insights in segment, product, geographical market developments.

Requirements:

• 8-10 years of relevant experience.

• Solid knowledge of the end-uses/products served by Vale Base Metals.

• Advanced analytics modelling (SPSS).

• Financial analysis (DCF modelling).

• Polished presentation and communication skills.

• MS Office / Open Office (or similar).

• Fluent in English and Bahasa.

• Fluent in Mandarin considered an asset.

Position: Sr. Ventilation Engineer

Work Location: Head Office, Jakarta

The position is under PT Vale Eksplorasi Indonesia and set to be permanent employee. The successful candidate will work on Head Office, Jakarta.

Purpose of the Role:

The Senior Ventilation Engineer role is responsible for undertaking mine ventilation and cooling design & planning, trade-off studies, cost estimation, technical review, and project evaluation. Lead initiatives to optimize ventilation & cooling strategies taking into consideration the impact on production/opex/capex. The role holder is responsible to identify and implement improvement ideas of value engineering, while ensuring the projects are delivered within the safety and quality objectives agreed for the project.

Accountabilities:

• Responsible to ensure all ventilation requirements satisfy all conditions set by the relevant legislation and company standards/guidelines.

• Develop business cases for ventilation related improvement projects.

• Ensure project documentation such as ventilation design, technical reports, and study decision notice are received, commented, responded and incorporated in project archives.

• Mitigates deliverables delays by coordinating the different tasks and establishing priorities.

• Ensures measurement of progress on all contracts for reporting progress to the Mine Engineering Lead and broader team as required.

• Ensures scope forecast of cost and schedule is updated as prescribed by the project requirements.

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in relevant study with 3.0 GPA from a possible

4.0 total GPA;

• Minimum 7 years of experience – preferably in mining exploration project or oil & gas industry;

• Good English proficiency (verbal & written) is essential;

• A strong knowledge & skills in civil construction (FIDIC contract), site camp support, price agreement, material management and local content requirements;

• A strong knowledge & skills in procurement process especially on sourcing & Contract/PO administration; negotiation with local supplier and problem solving;

• Familiar and able to work with local supplier/community in remote area; and

• Good skills in operating Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, Power Point & SAP.

Position: Sr. Procurement Analyst

Work Location: Work Location: Head Office, Jakarta

The position is a twelve-months contract under outsourcing company. The successful candidate will work on Head Office, Jakarta.

Purpose of the Role:

This position will help for contract activities, vendor registration, and maintain procurement monthly report.

Accountabilities:

• Perform daily contracting activities with regards to purchasing & service of materials and/ equipment requested by Users ensuring that they are processed under company’s standard, procedures, and regulations;

• Review and ensure the accuracy and completeness of incoming PR, adequacy of scope of work and any other exhibits, develops and reviews RFQ, and supervises procurement process in accordance to Procurement Procedures;

• Register new supplier in company’s portal;

• Conduct pre-qualification before preparing Request for Quotation (RFQ) or tender document;

• Studying market reports, trade periodicals and sales promotion materials and visiting trade shows, factories;

• Conduct analysis on Contract and PO terms (technical, commercial and legal terms);

Requirements:

• Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree on Supply Chain Management/Business

Administration or other related major

• Minimum 5 years of experience – preferably from mining or oil & gas industry

• Familiar to work with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, Power Point & Visio

• Familiar with SAP system

• Familiar and able to work with local supplier/community in remote area (i.e. Dompu, NTB)

- MANDATORY

• Having a knowledge for local content regulation

• Willing to work extra hours to complete the work

• Willing to travel to company’s site office (Sumbawa)
