An Indonesian mining company which operates the copper and gold mining and has a long-term expected mine life followed by processing stockpiles.

To support our EPC Project – POWER PLANT, we are looking for highly motivated and experienced professional to fill the following position :

MANAGER HSE – EPC POWER

(Expatriate/ National - Site Based)

Some of your duties will include:

Establish the HSE management function for the project, considering existing AMNT health, safety and environmental procedures.

Develop and implement all health, safety and environmental procedures, including waste management, site security and site hygiene and housekeeping.

Develop and implement the monthly safety activities calendar (inspections, drills, training, etc).

Develop and implement the site emergency response plan.

Develop and implement hazardous area rules and regulations for construction and commissioning work.

Develop and implement electrical equipment, PTW and LOTTO rules and regulations for construction and commissioning work.

Develop site procedures for contractor induction, general conduct of contractors and contractor training requirements.

Develop management and audit plans to ensure all procedures are implemented and executed properly.

Establish a close relationship and cooperate with the AMNT health, safety and environmental departments.

Take ownership of the permitting procedure for the power plant and the LNG facility.

Conduct training of contractors and staff.

Effectively implements and manages plans, actions, procedures, and improvement strategies decided by the project management team.

Submit necessary reports and recommendations to the Project Manager concerning project status and problems.

What skills and experience do you need?

Bachelor’s degree in engineering and/or relevant HSE management qualifications.

Minimum 12 years project based HSE management experience, of which at least 5 years in a similar or equivalent position, as EPC HSE manager.

Completed at least two projects involving natural gas, either in the power, LNG or petrochemical industries, as HSE manager.

National/regional experience will be a distinct advantage.

Power generation experience will be an advantage; Good knowledge of construction and erection work requirements; Experienced in planning and executing project, construction and commissioning activities

Experienced in developing and implementing procedures and systems.

Strong communicator, self-assured, able to work independently; A thorough understanding of the project cycle, the ability to prioritise activities and to drive it to completion and to anticipate pinch points.

MANAGER CONSTRUCTION – EPC POWER

(Expatriate/ National - Site Based)

Some of your duties will include:

Establish the construction management function for the project, considering existing company project management, contracting and construction procedures.

Manage and schedule all construction activities, including site establishment and site preparation.

Manage the construction safety program. Have regular meetings with the Safety Manager to review adherence to the procedures, to identify risks and areas for improvement.

Manage the construction schedule. Create and distribute a three-week look-ahead schedule; review with scheduler as needed to clarify input of current schedule impacts to the project master schedule. Have regular meetings with the Project Controls Manager to review adherence to the baseline schedule, identify risks and areas for improvement.

Manage the construction quality plans. Have regular meetings with the Quality Manager to review adherence to the quality procedures.

Manage the construction budget. Have regular meetings with the Project Controls Manager to review adherence to the approved budget.

Manage the construction and erection contractors in terms of the relevant contracts. Have regular contract review meetings with the Commercial Manager to review adherence to contractual requirements.

Responsible to maintain all construction records.

Maintain a daily construction log and prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.

Work with Contractors to mitigate variator orders; communicate to project team potential impact; work with PM and Engineering Contractor to formulate solutions which minimize overall cost impact to project.

Review and advise PM regarding Contractors’ related RFI questions, potential solutions and potential impacts to quality and schedule; maintain file of RFIs submitted and answered for access at project site.

Assist the Commercial Manager to review contractor bids and to implement construction contracts. Negotiate technical and schedule conditions with equipment suppliers and construction contractors.

Effectively implements and manages plans, actions, procedures, and improvement strategies decided by the project management team.

Submit necessary reports and recommendations to the Project Manager concerning project status and problems.

What skills and experience do you need?

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a commercial qualification.

Minimum 12 years project-based construction management experience, of which at least 5 years in a similar or equivalent position, as EPC construction manager.

Completed at least two CCGT projects, with multiple (>3 units), as EPC construction manager.

National/regional experience will be a distinct advantage.

Good knowledge of construction and erection contracts and standards

Experienced in developing and implementing procedures and systems.

Experienced in planning and executing project, construction and commissioning activities.

MANAGER ENGINEERING – EPC POWER

(Expatriate/ National - Site Based)

Some of your duties will include:

To manage, on behalf of the Owner’s Team, the overall engineering and design scope of work through the execution phase of the Site Power Expansion Project in order to achieve cost effective and fit-for-purpose design of the new processing facilities and associated infrastructure on time and in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and standards.

Prepare Owner’s Engineering & Design Management Plan for the Project to describe how the design associated with that project shall be executed and controlled.

Establish basic Project’s Design Criteria.

Prepare scope of work and/or services for external consultants and implementation contractors.

Manage the engineering activities in accordance with the approved Engineering & Design Management Plan.

Monitor and control the engineering and design work and carry out design reviews as set out in the Engineering & Design Management Plan.

To ensure that engineering and technical requirements are adequately understood, and commitments are met by all relevant project participants.

Perform design verification to ensure that the design output consistently satisfies design requirements and is suitable for its intended purpose.

Organize design and system engineering reviews and approve the main engineering and technical deliverables.

Establish Change Management for Engineering & Design to monitor scope variation for the timely assessment of the effect of changes in scope on project cost and schedule from an established base estimate and schedule (with Project Services Manager).

To ensure the engineering scope is delivered within the quality, time and cost constraints of the project.

To champion Value Improvement practices and to plan, organize and chair Value Engineering and Constructability workshops and follow-ups.

Carry out design validation on the final as-built product to ensure the performance acceptance and project acceptance criteria have been met.

Provide guidance, co-ordination and management of the Owner’s Project Team engineering members.

Track engineering and design performance KPIs, carry out root cause analysis of problems and complete associated corrective actions.

Provide engineering reports and identify continuous improvement opportunities

What skills and experience do you need?

Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Structural, Industrial or Process).

Postgraduate qualifications in Engineering Management and/or Project Management.

Member of relevant professional bodies and organizations.

Minimum 10 years project-based Engineering management experience, of which at least 5 years in a similar or equivalent position, as EPC Engineering Manager.

Completed at least two CCGT projects, with multiple (>3 units), as EPC construction manager.

Strong scope, time and budget management skills in the capacity of the Client.

MANAGER QA/ QC – EPC POWER

(Expatriate/ National - Site Based)

Some of your duties will include:

Manage and co-ordinate all facility infrastructure project construction and maintenance so as to maximize productivities in the most cost effective manner and to achieve business target while ensuring that a safe professional  is maintained;

Proactively seek, drive and deliver innovative value adding Quality Assurance and Quality Control solutions to the project and business.

Drive effective planning in all direct support areas and efficient use of resources to deliver agreed outcomes, KPI results and business objectives.

Actively identify new initiatives, technology or business practices with demonstrated business benefits and drive their implementation.

Deliver agreed annual objectives within agreed budget.

Establish effective and meaningful KPI for agreed OA&E services and other deliverables, and regularly monitor performance and progress against them.

Provide high quality and appreciated OA&QC services, including tender advice, project start up capability and ongoing monthly reporting support.

Maintain a strong link and relationship with all stakeholder and relationships with the People, Sustainability & Environment, Project Controls and Power Plant teams.

Responds to emergencies that could cause injury to personnel or loss of operational efficiency;

Development, establish, implement and maintain Departmental policy, procedures and systems, and monitor the adherence of these procedures within company and its Business Partners;

Development and maintain departmental plans that are pro-active in planning and execution to ensure that the day-to-day operational needs are met while counterbalancing the strict Project and control requirements in line with Indonesian or better standards;

Develop and enforce sound and practical standard operational and task procedures, which fit the global standards while ensuring a continually improving approach on Projects and control the facilities.

Goals and coordinates the activities of the department reports in the field, workshop and various administrative office ensure consistent and quality scheduled maintenance and unscheduled maintenance are accomplished with minimal disruption to the operation;

Ensure that international-quality office and support infrastructure facilities are available which meet the needs of the company workforce and its Business Partners;

What skills and experience do you need?

Minimum Bachelor Degree in Civil/ Structural Engineering with 12 years’ experience industry preferable have exposure in Geo Thermal  Power Plant project

Must have had 5 years’ experience in similar role as Manager Quality Control;

o Have substantial experience in the Domestic, light industrial construction industry and in particular facility maintenance; Must have Project infrastructure knowledge on building (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Piping / Plumbing); Ability to read & analyze Architectural/MEP/Structural drawings is required

o Familiar with Project management plan & system in Mining Infrastructure activity; have working knowledge in Civil Infrastructure principles, design concepts & operations, and awareness of operation regulatory; familiar with application of ISO 9001; has experience as Internal Auditor; be able to provide reporting;

o Have Madya level operational inspector certificate (POM) or qualifications certificate recognized by KaIT (Chief Mines Inspector) in accordance with level of position..

o Possess leadership traits and organizational, scheduling & time management skills; Ability to work both independently and as a team player and thrive in a fast paced, high pressure environment dependent on managing multiple project timelines and schedules simultaneously; Ability to communicate well, and work productively with internal and external individuals; A commitment to safety and a desire to maintain our Indonesian mining operations to world class international safety standards; Demonstrate strong conceptual skills, and capable of developing lateral and practical solutions; High level of integrity and commitment; Good analytical, conflict resolution, sound decision making skills;

SENIOR PROCESS LEAD (Superintendent role) – EPC POWER

(National - Site Based)

Some of your duties will include:

Responsible for all matters relating to the process (mass/heat/water diagrams, equipment specification and selection, process engineering, P&IDs, etc), all interfaces and terminal points, as well as ensuring effective document and information exchange between all internal and external stakeholders.

Study and review the heat and mass balance diagrams, P&IDs, plant and equipment specifications and other technical documentation, including O&M manuals and equipment manuals, ensuring conformance to specifications and standards and to the Owner’s requirements.

Develop and manage the engineering design schedule and the document and information exchange schedule between the project team, the Engineering Consultant, equipment suppliers and the construction team and construction contractors (internal and external project stakeholders).

Manage and control the document and information exchange process between internal and external project stakeholders.

Manage terminal points and software interfaces between internal and external project stakeholders.

During construction and commissioning, ensure that the correct documentation, drawings and other technical information are made available to the site teams.

Investigate and solve technical issues relating to drawings and engineering that will come up during construction and commissioning.

Take overall responsibility for commissioning, as Commissioning Manager.

Develop the commissioning schedule with the support of internal and external project stakeholders.

Manage the Owner’s, as well as the external parties’ commissioning teams.

Coordinate contractor support required for commissioning, including scope and contract development and implementation.

Plan and schedule resources (manpower, service providers, spares and consumables, tools and equipment) needed to carry out commissioning activities.

Plan and execute plant and equipment performance testing.

Develop and manage the training plan and training schedule, incorporating internal and external resources.

Submit necessary reports and recommendations to the Project Manager concerning project status and problems.

Formulate safety procedures and contribute to safety improvement in workplace by considering risk factors during commissioning activities.

Ensure compliance to codes, regulations and standards.

Responsible for the safety of the people under his control and for maintaining good housekeeping.

What skills and experience do you need?

Bachelor degree in mechanical or chemical engineering.

Minimum 10 years O&M and project management experience of Civil Construction Geo Thermal  Power Plants, of which at least 5 years in a similar or equivalent position.

A thorough understanding of the project cycle, the ability to prioritise activities and to drive it to completion and to anticipate pinch points; Experienced in developing heat and mass balances and P&IDs; Very good knowledge of thermodynamics, able to read and understand technical documentation and to make an expert evaluation there of; Experienced in planning and executing project and commissioning activities; Hands-on experience of commissioning systems and equipment in CCGT power plants; Good knowledge of pressure vessel, piping, boiler and welding codes and standards.

Have Frontline/ Middle level operational inspector certificate (POP/ POM) or qualifications certificate recognized by KaIT (Chief Mines Inspector) in accordance with level of position.

Strong leadership and organizational, scheduling & time management skills; Ability to work both independently and as a team player and thrive in a fast paced, high pressure environment dependent on managing multiple project timelines and schedules simultaneously; Ability to communicate well, and work productively with internal and external individuals; A commitment to safety and a desire to maintain our Indonesian mining operations to world class international safety standards; Demonstrate strong conceptual skills, and capable of developing lateral and practical solutions; High level of integrity and commitment; Good analytical, conflict resolution, sound decision making skills;

SENIOR ENGINEER CIVIL & STRUCTURAL – EPC POWER

(National - Site Based)

Some of your duties will include:

To analyst and manage Power Plant Facilities constructions & maintenance work including team to support mining operation;

To ensure that earthwork/land preparation, civil & building works performed on project area are in accordance with Inspection and Test Plan (ITP), Project drawing/designs, codes and standards and comply with Project Management System;

Directly in-charge both in value engineering (managing design), and the field engineering & inspection activities of civil/building works and its coordination to client and Company group.

Coordinate, monitoring and update of all project construction plan, budget program and resource requirement to ensure delivery of project on time and on budget;

To carry out civil and construction design required for supporting project activities;

To prepare estimation of Bill of Quantity of estimated work;

To ensure that all civil work (Earthwork/Drainage or Structure); in accordance with project specification and supervise the construction crew;

Making plan based on Overall Schedule and to communicate and discuss with site team;

Monitor and report site progress;

Making RFI for any site issue related to engineering/design;

Coordinate with Supply Chain department to plan and control permanent material purchases; expediting procurement and logistics to ensure site crew have all the requirements materials, equipment, manpower and services on schedule; ensure the planning and programming of site activities and procurement is monitored and achieved required milestone

Ensuring safe work environment are maintained, incidents and unsafe conditions are reported and team members are trained.

What skills and experience do you need?

Have a degree in Civil / Structural Engineering with minimum 10 years’ experience in EPC / Civil Construction industry preferable have exposure in Geo Thermal Power Plant project, which at least minimum of 8 years experiences in similar role as Senior Engineer Civil & Structural;

Good knowledge and having skill to operate software of structure particularly Autocad 2D and 3D; Good understand of project scheduling (Time Line) and Calculate of build of quantity (RAB = Rencana Anggaran Belanja);

Familiar with Risk Assessment in Civil area; Familiar with safety issue in civil work; Willingness to work outdoor is a must; Proficient in civil engineering and financial expertise in civil and structure designs, project planning & scheduling, project cost valuation and resource management focus;

Have Frontline level operational inspector certificate (POP) or qualifications certificate recognized by KaIT (Chief Mines Inspector) in accordance with level of position.
