SUPERINTENDENT - QC INSPECTOR & EXPEDITOR – MECHANICAL ROTATING (EPC-SMT)
(National - Site Based)
Some of your duties will include:
• Ensure the quality of copper smelter equipment at Various LSTK Contractor’s vendor/equipment manufacturer’s location and their sub-vendor location and quality of equipment, Facilities during erection and commissioning at site.
• Visit the equipment manufacture facility on regular interval of time as per equipment manufacturing schedule. Follow up the Manufacturing status and push the whole process to catch up with the schedule.
• Perform the joint inspection with manufacturer, TPI To Monitor and ensure the quality of equipment and project material.
• To perform dimensional measurement and inspection on in-process and final finished machined components.
• To conduct vendor document review on incoming inspection when required.
• To liaise and coordinate with TPI/Customer Representatives during project execution stage.
• Verifying traceability on work orders in the Test & Assembly process.
• Coordination with site construction and quality control team for quality inspection scheduling.
• Confirm supplier’s & Contractor’s understanding of all deliverables and that the supplier’s submission or delivery requirements match the project/operation & Quality expectations.
• Identifies and evaluates Quality-related incidents / problems / non-conformances and initiates, recommends, and provides effective solutions where necessary.
• Review all ITP, QAP, inspection reports for compliance, with reference to applicable industry codes and site standards/procedures.
• Evaluate the supplier’s and contractor’s plans and ability to meet the schedule.
• Attend regular project meeting and report the quality and production process to the project manager.
• Deal with the relevant documentation such as review the ITP,QAP, inspection report /summary of the production progress.

What skills and experience do you need?
• Bachelor degree in Mechanical/ Industrial or Engineering in related discipline;
• Have minimum 15 years’ experience in EPC / Construction industry preferable have exposure in Smelter Project for Mineral Processing Plant, which at least 5 years in a similar or equivalent position as Superintendent QC Inspector & Expeditor – Mechanical Rotating, and minimum 4 years in site based with demonstrated project management - having worked with national/ global Engineering companies for Copper /Nickel/ Zinc projects in an EPC/EPCM mode;
• Minimum of 10 to 15 years in Quality control inspection and expediting in Rotating equipment Like, ball mill, Sag Mill, Conveyor belt, Steam dryer, Anode furnace, Casting wheel, Kiln, Pumps, Blower , Fan Etc in inspection corp. and 3rd party inspection agency.
• Certification/Training in Quality (must be based on ISO 9001:2008) from a recognized institution. (For example, CQE, CQA, CQT or CQI) Level I or Level II Radiographic Film Interpretation; Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) with AWS; Non-destructive Testing such as MT, PT, UT, and VT will be an asset.
• A working knowledge of Construction / Structural / Inspection codes and practices such as API 570, 620 and 650, ASME B31.3, AWS D1.1, API 1104, ASME Section V and IX. NACE standards, ISO 8501 & SSPC Systems.
• Have substantial experience in the Domestic, light industrial construction industry and in particular facility maintenance; Must have Project infrastructure knowledge on building (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Piping / Plumbing, Welding; Ability to read & analyze Architectural/MEP/Structural drawings is required;
• Familiar with Project management plan & system in Mining Infrastructure activity; have working knowledge in Civil & Structural/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Piping and Plumbing/ Welding Infrastructure principles, design concepts & operations, and awareness of operation regulatory; familiar with application of ISO 9001; has experience as Internal Auditor; be able to provide reporting;
• Earlier experience to manage/ Supervise EPC contracts with Chinese contractors will be an added advantage;
• Expertise in process technology, engineering, operations, maintenance and past credentials to cost effectively manage plants is a pre requisite for this position;
• Good knowledge of Microsoft project or other industry software such as AutoCAD, CATS; Have an understanding of construction regulations, industry codes and standard, workplace health & safety regulation, quality assurance, construction cost and processes; General knowledge of site man hour productivity rates and equipment utilization;

SUPERINTENDENT - QC INSPECTOR & EXPEDITOR – MECHANICAL STATIC (EPC-SMT)
(National - Site Based)
Some of your duties will include:
• Manage all facility infrastructure project construction and maintenance so as to maximize productivities in the most cost effective manner and to achieve business target while ensuring that a safe professional is maintained;
• Act as QA&QC management representative and provide support on technical, administrative, and management activities for the project of management System application & management activities for tender preparation, execution of the project and workplace management system.
• Manage of reviewing and updating departmental procedures and policies, administers discipline, enforces company policy, and ensures compliance with state, federal, or other jurisdictional laws;
• Responds to emergencies that could cause injury to personnel or loss of operational efficiency;
• Manage for development, establish, implement and maintain Departmental policy, procedures and systems, and monitor the adherence of these procedures within company and its Business Partners;
• Manage for development and maintain departmental plans that are pro-active in planning to ensure that the day-to-day operational needs are met while counterbalancing the strict Project and control requirements in line with Indonesian or better standards;
• Manage in develop and enforce sound and practical standard operational and task procedures, which fit the global standards while ensuring a continually improving approach on Projects and control the facilities.
• Sets goals and coordinates the activities of the department reports in the field, workshop and various administrative office ensure consistent and quality scheduled Construction/ Maintenance and unscheduled Construction/ Maintenance are accomplished with minimal disruption to the operation;
• Manage and involve in development and enforce sound and practical standard operational and task procedures, which fit the global standards while ensuring a continually improving approach to a better delivery of support and operational services;
• Ensure that international-quality office and support facility infrastructure project construction and maintenance are available which meet the needs of the company workforce and its Business Partners;
• Responsible to prepare detailed MTO's (Material Take-Offs) and BOM's (Bills of Quantities);
• Prepare detailed cost estimates in accordance with the Project Management System and sound industry practice;
• Support projects in the start-up and execution phase as required; to provide technical direction for all engineering works from contract award through to commissioning phase; plan and control permanent material purchases; expediting procurement and logistics to ensure site crew have all the required materials, equipment, manpower and services on schedule; and, ensure that planning and programming of site activities and procurement is monitored to meet and achieve required milestones;
• Actively assist the estimating department to continually enhance estimating procedures and processes;
• Quality all and any assumption made in preparation of the MTO/BOQ's for discussion with the Project Manager to ensure that appropriate allowances (contingencies) or clarifications are included on site;
• Check Data Sheets, Specification, scope of work for request, technical clarification, and technical evaluation of Vendor Equipment.
• Directly in-charge in the field inspection activities of all Mechanical Static and its coordination to client and Company group and ensure that all mechanical and piping equipment in accordance with project specifications, standard practices, code and standards.

• Minimum of 10 to 15 years in Quality control inspection of Metallic piping, Non-metallic, Steel structure, painting and thermal insulation at project site, etc in inspection corp. and 3rd party inspection agency.
• Certification/Training in Quality (must be based on ISO 9001:2008) from a recognized institution. (For example, CQE, CQA, CQT or CQI) Level I or Level II Radiographic Film Interpretation; Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) with AWS; Non-destructive Testing such as MT, PT, UT, and VT will be an asset; Familiar with Piping code.

• Factory Acceptance Test: Transformer, Switchgear, Emergency Diesel Generator, HVAC (Heating Ventilating and Air Conditioning) control panel,
• To perform Pre commissioning & commissioning inspection checks: UPS, HVAC (Heating Ventilating and Air Conditioning) control panel, Switchgear / Motor Control Centre (MCC), Transformer, Emergency Diesel Generator PAU Metering.
• To Perform Pre commissioning & commissioning inspection: Transformer, Emergency Diesel Generator, Lighting etc.
• To perform factory acceptance test of electrical goods: Transformer, Motor Control Centre, Switchgear, Electrical panel, measuring and control panel and equipment sets.
What skills and experience do you need?
• A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & Power electrical /Electronic Engineering from a recognized institution;
• Have minimum 15 years’ experience in EPC / Construction industry preferable have exposure in Smelter Project for Mineral Processing Plant, which at least 5 years in a similar or equivalent position as Superintendent QC Inspector & Expeditor – Electrical & Instrumentation, and minimum 4 years in site based with demonstrated project management - having worked with national/ global Engineering companies for Copper /Nickel/ Zinc projects in an EPC/EPCM mode;
• Minimum of 10 to 15 years in Quality control inspection of large capacity plant electrical and instrumentation equipment i.e. Motor, Transformer, VFC, Switch gear, Measuring and control panel, MCC, MCC panel , Electrical cable etc. in inspection corp. and 3rd party inspection agency.
• Certification/Training in Quality (must be based on ISO 9001:2008) from a recognized institution. (For example, CQE, CQA, CQT or CQI) Level I or Level II Radiographic Film Interpretation; Non-destructive Testing such as MT, PT, UT, and VT will be an asset; Familiar in Electrical safety.

What skills and experience do you need? • Bachelor degree in Civil/ Industrial or Engineering in related discipline; • Minimum 15 years project-based schedule and cost control, of which at least 5 years in a similar or equivalent position as Superintendent Planning & Scheduling; • Very good knowledge of schedule and cost control software packages; • Good knowledge of FIDIC engineering, construction and equipment supply contracts; • Strong communicator, self-assured, able to work independently; • A thorough understanding of the project cycle, the ability to priorities activities and to drive it to completion and to anticipate pinch points; • Experienced in developing and implementing procedures and systems. • Very good knowledge of BOM/BOQ construction contracts. • Experienced in planning and executing project, construction and commissioning activities from a scheduling and cost control perspective. • Excellent in communication skills in English both verbal and written; computer literate. SUPERINTENDENT QUANTITY SURVEYOR (EPC-SMT) (National - Site Based) Some of your duties will include: Quantities • Monitor, analyses, forecast and report on construction contractors installed quantities to ensure that the Contractors are paid for the actual built quantities. • Participate in final inspection and prepare “punch lists”. • Review P6 schedule progress to ensure that invoiced amounts are in line with actual installed works. • Supervise quantity take offs. Field Changes • Participate in the preparation of technical information for Field Change Requests and Change Orders. • Monitor quantity growth and support Trend analysis What skills and experience do you need? • Bachelor degree in Civil/ Industrial or Engineering in related discipline; • Have minimum 12 years’ experience in EPC / Civil Construction industry, preferable have exposure in Smelter Project for Mineral Processing Plant, which at least 5 years in a similar or equivalent position as experience as Superintendent/ Lead Quantity Surveyor and minimum 3 years in site based with demonstrated project management; Prior working with Indonesia construction experience is desirable; • Prior experience in evaluation claims from contractors and responding to contractors contractually; • Experience working in P6 and establishing and reviewing baseline schedules; • Experience in Quantity Take-offs; • Experience in Contracts terms and conditions and applying the contract conditions to the measurement of the work; • Estimating experience is beneficial; • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, AutoCAD, Autodesk Civil 3D and other Autodesk Programs, Microsoft Excel and Primavera P6 and other related Quantity Surveying Software. SUPERINTENDENT ESTIMATING AND CHANGE (EPC-SMT) (National - Site Based) Some of your duties will include: Estimating • Utilize estimating methods and the expertise of other project professionals to establish project estimates. • Engage in direct contact with other functional areas, including client and field contractors • Maintain and support the office estimating database and information such as escalation indices, rate of exchange variation, productivity, etc • Presentation of the estimates to management and to Client Management • Turnover of the completed and approved estimate to the Project Control team Change Management • Capture change triggers from project team, including at meetings • Coordinate the collection of information regarding the change from all project disciplines • Coordinate the preparation of the change notice • Coordinate and the review and approval workflow • Manage the communication of the change following review • Closeout the change implementation across all impacted project disciplines • Maintain change tracking into the approved project tools What skills and experience do you need? • Bachelor degree in Civil/ Industrial or Engineering in related discipline; • Have minimum 12 years’ experience in EPC / Civil Construction industry preferable have exposure in Smelter Project for Mineral Processing Plant, which at least 5 years in a similar or equivalent position as experience as Superintendent/ Lead Estimating & Change and minimum 4 years in site based with demonstrated project management; • Minimum of 5 years’ experience using and of the Estimating Systems • Excellent in communication skills in English both verbal and written; computer literate; SUPERINTENDENT PROJECT COST CONTROL (EPC-SMT) (National - Site Based) Some of your duties will include: • Prepare budget project in accordance with approved design construction engineering plan; • Cashflow Management and tracking • Verification of invoices / claims and certification of claims • Review progress, control and maintain cost as per budget; • Provide and review weekly and monthly costing report; • Provide forecasting report; set up monthly, yearly budget plan; ensure cost in the right allocation in SAP costing and provide journal report in monthly bases; • Ensure production data accurately reported for progress; check and review additional work/day work claim; • Check explosive materials and accessories back charged by Client; • Provide and communicate the weekly cost report to related department for any possible improvement; check and review daily costing of infrastructure division; review civil works/infrastructure progress and report variance cost against budget.
