Maintenance Engineer

Work Location: Sorowako For National Recruitment

Purpose of the Role:

Perform engineering works, project management task, maintenance and cost analysis, investigation and other actions to ensure that equipment is correctly maintained and performing at optimum capability and capacity with the best of economic cost for PTVI investment. Seek implementation of leading-edge products and features, such as technology of autonomous system, battery electric vehicle, latest technology supported with artificial intelligent or machine learning to achieve reliable mobile equipment and mine fixed plant with optimize component lifetime and performance optimization, to face mining 4.0 vision.

Accountabilities:

1. Implementing and supervising Environment, Health, Safety, and Risk (EHSR) standards and regulations by ensuring working environmental conditions, equipment, materials, methods, worker behavior, and 5S under area responsibility with the aim of minimizing risk, achieving safe and secure conditions (Zero Harm), clean environment, and achieved work productivity targets.

2. Develop and review maintenance procedures and strategy to ensure that all maintenance work done by MEM is done more safely, more effectively and more efficiently.

3. Implement reliability engineering in Mobile Equipment maintenance to ensure that equipment can be operated at optimum capability and capacity

4. Ensure Mobile Equipment and MEM Facilities modification is adequately engineered and approved as PTVI procedures. (The selection, purchase, construction, maintenance, modification, until the demolition process)

5. Ensure maintenance costs of mobile equipment are well managed by preparing, monitoring and analyzing all mobile equipment maintenance costs

6. Ensure and maintain all CMMS are adequately and effectively used and useful by MEM Role Holders

7. Decide and support initiatives improvement for mobile equipment maintenance to be operating with high reliability and availability to achieve PTVI and Government standard.

8. Study, develop, and review digital transformation development program, confirm program priorities and ensure alignment to company strategies and business case development.

9. Collaborate and build effective partnership with all stakeholders (Customer, IT, Capital Project, Global Technology Innovation, Management, etc.) to ensure the optimum product and feature development strategy with optimum schedule, cost & resources to deliver digital transformation program as per priority.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Engineering

• 3 - 4 years’ experience as an engineer (minimum junior level)

• Preferably have experience in the mining industry, especially heavy equipment maintenance

• POP (Pengawas Operasional Pertama) (mandatory)

• IPP (Insinyur Profesional Pratama) (preferred)

• CMRP (Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional) (preferred)
