Amman Mineral Group – Scaffolding; 6 positions

An Indonesian mining company which operates the copper and gold mining, and have a long-term expected mine life followed by processing stockpiles.

To support our operations with a variety of projects and challenging tasks in Project Development - Scaffolding area, we are looking for highly motivated professionals eager for brave thinking, foster innovation, and build collaboration to achieve operational excellence to fill the following position :

SUPERINTENDENT SCAFFOLDING

(National - Site Based)

Some of your duties will include:

• Monitor and control scaffold operations to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations;

• Planning and supervising the scaffolding works. This post is responsible for the planning and co-ordination of all manpower and equipment, materials supplies, towards the proper completion of the site construction works on schedule

• Planning and directing the procurement of scaffolding material required for the proper completion of scaffolding on schedule and after making best use of the existing scaffolding material

• Directing and supervising the scaffolding crews in the performance of all aspects of their work

• Maintaining functional links with other project personnel in the project, particularly with the Administration, Procurement, Material and Construction sections

• Ensuring scaffold requests erected/dismantled in timely manner;

• Inspect scaffolds regularly to ensure they are safe and in good working condition

• Provide technical support to the scaffold team, including interpreting drawings, calculating load capacities, and determining scaffold requirements

• Communicate effectively with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that scaffold operations are aligned with project timelines and goals

• Develop and maintain scaffold procedures and policies to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations

• Provide training and coaching to scaffold builders to enhance their skills and knowledge

• Maintain close communication, resolve backlogs, safety and quality issues with relevant User Department representatives, as needed.

 What skills and experience do you need?

• Bachelor degree in Technical Engineering related field preferred with relevant qualifications; Has minimum 12+ years’ experience working in Scaffolding scope of work area in field construction project management, multi-unit development or similar project management/development fields;

• Have minimum 5 years’ professional working experiences in similar role as Superintendent Scaffolding;

• Previous experience in ground up construction is required. EPC/ Mining Industry construction experience is preferred;

• Previous experience managing scaffolding project scope.

• Have middle level operational inspector certificate (POM) or qualifications certificate recognized by KaIT (Chief Mines Inspector) in accordance with level of position;

• Strong leadership and organizational, scheduling & time management skills; Ability to work both independently and as a team player and thrive in a fast paced, high pressure environment dependent on managing multiple project timelines and schedules simultaneously; A commitment to safety and a desire to maintain our Indonesian mining operations to world class international safety standards.

• Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written and computer literate.

SUPERVISOR – ASSET WORKSHOP

(National - Site Based)

Some of your duties will include:

• Monitor, Control and Coordinate relate to assets management i.e. equipment, tools and scaffold material in Workshop,

• Ensuring high level availability and reliability of the assets.

• Maintain asset list and initiate material and equipment procurement as necessary.

What skills and experience do you need?

• Bachelor degree in Technical Engineering related field preferred with relevant qualifications; Has minimum 8+ years’ experience working in Scaffolding scope of work area in field construction project management, multi-unit development or similar project management/development fields;

• Have minimum 5 years’ professional working experiences in similar role as Team Leader/ Supervisor Asset Workshop

• Previous experience in ground up construction is required. EPC/ Mining Industry construction experience is preferred;

• Previous experience in scaffolding management project scope.

• Have Frontline level operational inspector certificate (POP) or qualifications certificate recognized by KaIT (Chief Mines Inspector) in accordance with level of position;

• Strong leadership and organizational, scheduling & time management skills; Ability to work both independently and as a team player and thrive in a fast paced, high pressure environment dependent on managing multiple project timelines and schedules simultaneously; A commitment to safety and a desire to maintain our Indonesian mining operations to world class international safety standards.

• Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written and computer literate.

SUPERVISOR – ASSET FIELD

(National - Site Based)

Some of your duties will include:

• Monitor, Control and Coordinate relate to assets management i.e. equipment, tools and scaffold material that are being used or temporarily stored at the field,

• Ensuring security and proper utilization of the assets,

• Closely coordinate with Planner to resolve issues and recommend improvement as needed.

What skills and experience do you need?

• Bachelor degree in Technical Engineering related field preferred with relevant qualifications; Has minimum 8+ years’ experience working in Scaffolding scope of work area in field construction project management, multi-unit development or similar project management/development fields;

• Have minimum 5 years’ professional working experiences in similar role as Team Leader/ Supervisor Asset Filed;

• Previous experience in ground up construction is required. EPC/ Mining Industry construction experience is preferred;

• Previous experience in scaffolding management project scope.

• Have Frontline level operational inspector certificate (POP) or qualifications certificate recognized by KaIT (Chief Mines Inspector) in accordance with level of position;

• Strong leadership and organizational, scheduling & time management skills; Ability to work both independently and as a team player and thrive in a fast paced, high pressure environment dependent on managing multiple project timelines and schedules simultaneously; A commitment to safety and a desire to maintain our Indonesian mining operations to world class international safety standards.

• Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written and computer literate.

PLANNER - SCAFFOLDING

(National - Site Based)

Some of your duties will include:

• Responsible for planning, designing and managing the construction of scaffolding structures for construction and maintenance projects. The role typically involves working closely with project team, construction teams and other stakeholders to ensure that scaffolding structures are designed and installed safely and efficiently

• Conducting site surveys to assess the requirements for scaffolding structures, including the type and size of scaffolding needed, and any special requirements or restrictions

• Creating detailed scaffold designs and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software or other design tools.

• Coordinating with project managers, construction teams, and other stakeholders to ensure that scaffolding structures are designed and installed to meet project timelines and budget constraints

• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, including carrying out risk assessments and ensuring that scaffolding structures are designed and installed in a way that minimizes the risk of accidents or injury.

• Managing the procurement and delivery of scaffold materials and equipment, including liaising with suppliers and ensuring that all equipment meets relevant safety standards.

• Overseeing the installation and dismantling of scaffolding structures, including monitoring progress and quality control.

• Conducting regular inspections and maintenance of scaffolding structures to ensure they remain safe and fit for purpose.

• Managing a team of scaffold builders and providing training and guidance on scaffolding construction and safety procedures

• Coordinate with all stakeholder/ User Department representatives ensuring scaffold requests erected/dismantled in timely manner.

• Closely coordinate Planning to resolve issues and execute improvement plan as needed.

What skills and experience do you need?

• Bachelor degree in Technical Engineering related field preferred with relevant qualifications; Has minimum 8+ years’ experience working in Scaffolding scope of work area in field construction project management, multi-unit development or similar project management/development fields;

• Have minimum 5 years’ professional working experiences in similar role as Planner – Scaffolding Asset ;

• Previous experience in ground up construction is required. EPC/ Mining Industry construction experience is preferred;

• Previous experience in scaffolding management project scope.

• Have Frontline level operational inspector certificate (POP) or qualifications certificate recognized by KaIT (Chief Mines Inspector) in accordance with level of position;

• Thorough understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices related to scaffolding construction

• Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality control

COORDINATOR - EQUIPMENT

(National - Site Based)

Some of your duties will include:

• Planning and scheduling the use of equipment to ensure maximum utilization and efficiency. This involves working closely with various departments, teams, and individuals to determine the equipment needs and availability, and then scheduling equipment use accordingly

• Keeping track of equipment inventory and maintaining accurate records of equipment use, maintenance, and repair history. This involves creating and maintaining equipment logs, scheduling maintenance and repair activities, and ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained and serviced

• Training and supervising equipment operators to ensure that they are properly trained, certified, and qualified to operate the equipment safely and efficiently. This involves providing training and support, conducting safety inspections, and ensuring that operators follow all safety protocols and procedures

• Monitoring equipment performance and identifying any issues or problems that may arise. This involves conducting regular inspections and maintenance checks, tracking equipment usage, and analyzing data to identify trends and potential issues

• Managing equipment procurement and disposal activities, including researching and selecting equipment vendors, negotiating contracts and prices, and coordinating the delivery and installation of new equipment. This also involves identifying and disposing of old or outdated equipment in a safe and environmentally responsible manner

• Manage daily utilization of the equipment i.e. LVs, boom trucks, buses, etc.

• Monitor and control equipment maintenance schedule to ensure high-level availability and reliability of the equipment.

What skills and experience do you need?

• Bachelor degree in Technical Engineering related field preferred with relevant qualifications; Has minimum 10+ years’ experience working in Scaffolding Equipment scope of work area in field construction project management, multi-unit development or similar project management/development fields;

• Have minimum 5 years’ professional working experiences in similar role as Coordinator - Equipment;

• Previous experience in ground up construction is required. EPC/ Mining Industry construction experience is preferred;

• Previous experience in scaffolding management project scope.

• Have Frontline level operational inspector certificate (POP) or qualifications certificate recognized by KaIT (Chief Mines Inspector) in accordance with level of position;

• Be able to identify and troubleshoot issues related to equipment performance, maintenance, and operation

• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously

• Strong leadership and organizational, scheduling & time management skills; Ability to work both independently and as a team player and thrive in a fast paced, high pressure environment dependent on managing multiple project timelines and schedules simultaneously; A commitment to safety and a desire to maintain our Indonesian mining operations to world class international safety standards.

• Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written and computer literate.

SPECIALIST - SCAFFOLDING

(National - Site Based)

Some of your duties will include:

• Inspecting scaffolding equipment to ensure it is in good condition, safe to use, and meets industry standards

• Identifying and reporting any defects or damage to scaffolding equipment

• Assembling, dismantling, and storing scaffolding equipment in a safe and efficient manner

• Coordinating with other workers on the construction site to ensure the scaffolding is set up in the right location and at the right height.

• Keeping accurate records of scaffolding inventory, including the type, quantity, and location of scaffolding equipment.

• Maintaining a clean and organized scaffold storage area.

• Ensuring that safety procedures and regulations are followed at all times

• Collaborating with the scaffolding team to plan and execute scaffolding projects

• Operating a forklift or other heavy equipment to move scaffolding materials as needed

• Performing other duties as assigned by the site supervisor or manager

• Manage daily utilization of scaffold material.

• Conduct periodic maintenance to ensure high-level availability and reliability.

What skills and experience do you need?

• Bachelor degree in Technical Engineering related field preferred with relevant qualifications; Has minimum 8+ years’ experience working in Scaffolding Equipment scope of work area in field construction project management, multi-unit development or similar project management/development fields;

• Have minimum 5 years’ professional working experiences in similar role as Specialist Warehouse/ Store – Scaffolding.

• Previous experience in ground up construction is required. EPC/ Mining Industry construction experience is preferred;

• Previous experience in scaffolding management project scope

• Experience in managing scaffolding inventory and maintaining equipment

• Have Frontline level operational inspector certificate (POP) or qualifications certificate recognized by KaIT (Chief Mines Inspector) in accordance with level of position;

• Strong leadership and organizational, scheduling & time management skills; Ability to work both independently and as a team player and thrive in a fast paced, high pressure environment dependent on managing multiple project timelines and schedules simultaneously; A commitment to safety and a desire to maintain our Indonesian mining operations to world class international safety standards.

• Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written and computer literate.
