An Indonesian mining company which operates the copper and gold mining, and have a long-term expected mine life followed by processing stockpiles.

To support our EPC Project – Mill Process Fixed Plant Expansion, we require someone who is able to adapt with dynamic and under pressure environment to be carried out with rapid progress, highly motivated and experienced professional to fill the following position:

QUALITY INSPECTOR (EPC - MILL FIXED PLANT)

(National - Site Based)

Some of your duties will include:

• Co-ordinate all facility infrastructure project construction and maintenance so as to maximize productivities in the most cost effective manner and to achieve business target while ensuring that a safe professional  is maintained;

• Assist QA&QC management representative and provide support on technical, administrative, and management activities for the project of management System application & management activities for tender preparation, execution of the project and workplace management system.

• Assist to reviews and updates departmental procedures and policies, administers discipline, enforces company policy, and ensures compliance with state, federal, or other jurisdictional laws;

• Involve in responds to emergencies that could cause injury to personnel or loss of operational efficiency;

• Involve for development, establish, implement and maintain Departmental policy, procedures and systems, and monitor the adherence of these procedures within company and its Business Partners;

• Involve for development and maintain departmental plans that are pro-active in planning to ensure that the day-to-day operational needs are met while counterbalancing the strict Project and control requirements in line with Indonesian or better standards;

• Involve in develop and enforce sound and practical standard operational and task procedures, which fit the global standards while ensuring a continually improving approach on Projects and control the facilities.

• Assist sets goals and coordinates the activities of the department reports in the field, workshop and various administrative office ensure consistent and quality scheduled maintenance and unscheduled maintenance are accomplished with minimal disruption to the operation;

• Involve in development and enforce sound and practical standard operational and task procedures, which fit the global standards while ensuring a continually improving approach to a better delivery of support and operational services;

• Ensure that international-quality office and support infrastructure facilities are available which meet the needs of the company workforce and its Business Partners;

What skills and experience do you need?

• Minimum Bachelor Degree in Civil/ Structural Engineering with 8 years’ experience industry preferable have exposure in Mill Expansion/ Process Fixed Plant/ EPC Industry.

• Must have had 5 years’ experience in similar role as Senior Engineer Quality Control/ Quality Assurance;

o Have substantial experience in the Domestic, light industrial construction industry and in particular facility maintenance; Must have Project infrastructure knowledge on building (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Piping / Plumbing); Ability to read & analyze Architectural/MEP/Structural drawings is required

o Familiar with Project management plan & system in Mining Infrastructure activity; have working knowledge in Civil Infrastructure principles, design concepts & operations, and awareness of operation regulatory; familiar with application of ISO 9001; has experience as Internal Auditor; be able to provide reporting;

o Have Frontline level operational inspector certificate (POP) or qualifications certificate recognized by KaIT (Chief Mines Inspector) in accordance with level of position..

o Possess leadership traits and organizational, scheduling & time management skills; Ability to work both independently and as a team player and thrive in a fast paced, high pressure environment dependent on managing multiple project timelines and schedules simultaneously; Ability to communicate well, and work productively with internal and external individuals; A commitment to safety and a desire to maintain our Indonesian mining operations to world class international safety standards; Demonstrate strong conceptual skills, and capable of developing lateral and practical solutions; High level of integrity and commitment; Good analytical, conflict resolution, sound decision making skills;

DOCUMENT CONTROLLER (EPC - MILL FIXED PLANT)

(National - Site Based)

Some of your duties will include:

• Conform to and continuously improve the standard, specification, and document control procedures

• Manage and maintain all controlled company documents. Oversee document through its entire lifecycle (inception to archival)

• Perform document identification, classification, numbering, and filing

• Manage administration and deployment of the Policy/Standard/ Procedure/STP/Form Document in Document Control site

• Manage and follow the defined Document review cycle, ensuring conformance with the document’s Review Period.

• Create and maintain master document templates and forms

• Using an electronic document management system (EDMS) such as Sharepoint, to index, store and retrieve a wide variety of document types

• Ensure the integrity and security of the document and the system to prevent from unauthorized modification, tampering or lost.

• Responsible for operating a systematic filing system and ensure ease in retrieving and tracking of documents.Reviewing documents, checking according to the checklist to ensure compliant with regulations, creating revisions and archiving outdated versions

• Ensure new and revised documents are accessible, notify and distribute documents to the relevant people, departments, or organisations, and letting them know when they need to take action on a document as part of a process

• Conduct document audit to confirm they are current and accurately reflect recorded evidence

• Making sure that departments are following the correct procedures in the document flow process

• Ensure the approval for new or updated document

• Contribute to report generation of document control periodic reports.

• Participate and contribute to internal and external audits, and follow-up to resolve findings accordingly.

What skills and experience do you need?

• Tertiary degree (diploma degree) from reputable university

• Two (2) years of administrative or clerical work involving one or more of the followings: data entry, document submission, document filing, electronic reservation

• Understand the concept of document control

• Good in Business English verbally and in written

• Good computer literacy

• Intermediate skill in Microsoft Word

• Exposure to electronic document filing

CHANGE MANAGEMENT (EPC - MILL FIXED PLANT)

(National - Site Based)

Some of your duties will include:

• Identifying and monitoring changes that impact the project baselines.

• Inputting trends and PCNs into the cost control system, when approved.

• Allocation of budget to new packages as part of budget transfers.

• Forecasting costs and summarisation of total forecasts.

• Identification of trends for unawarded scope and preparation of trend reports.

• Preparation / production of cost reports at all levels of detail.

• Provide estimates as and when required to support cost forecasting.

• Track, analyse and control costs associated with supply and construction work packages

• Provide cost control support for all packages which includes variation reporting, monitoring of milestone progress in the preparation of customer billing processes, etc

• Liaise with site Owner’s operations in the use of resources (equipment, material and services) to validate it is being tracked and correctly allocated as a cost to the project. Includes use of fuel, accommodation, equipment, transportation to site.

• Review and analysis of Daily, Weekly and Monthly contractors’ reports.

• Provide internal reporting and presentations as required in relation to cost budgets, commitments, actuals, and forecasts.

• Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as required.

What skills and experience do you need?

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

• Minimum 10 to 15 years of experience in cost control preferably in mining/metal processing/industrial project

• Minimum 5 years of relevant estimating experiences

• Minimum 5 years of change management experience

• Experience in managing construction projects in a remote site location

SPEC. BUYER (EPC FIXED PLANT)

(National - Site Based)

Some of your duties will include:

• Adhere to the domestic purchasing strategy and operational corporate requirements.

• Participate in the day-to-day operation of the SAP supply management and forward purchasing systems to process routine purchase electronically.

• Check the recommended supplier against records of approved, reliable suppliers so that prices and deliveries can be guaranteed in relation to the company’s experience of supplier performance.

• Check that the proposed purchase strategies are acceptable to the end user by sending quotations from the supplier to the end user for checking the proposed delivery time, the price quoted and proposed quality. In cases where there are disagreements from the end user, refer to the Supervisor Procurement for alternative strategies.

• Arrange for approval of quotation reviews according to relevant financial and end user authority level and once approval is received, process, distribute and file the completed purchase order.

• Monitor and rectify purchasing discrepancies.

• Deal with price variances and determine if charges from suppliers are consistent with purchase order details. Make narrative notations and forward changes to the Superintendent for implementation.

• Maintain records of all dealings with suppliers on computerized database in relation to domestic and international purchases.

• Develop contract plans and strategies based on user department contracting requirements and provide regular progress status reports of all contracting activities.

• Use, monitor and update the contracting components of the Ellipse contracts administration systems, online contracts request system, and related data and reporting systems.

• Administer contract matters relating to Government regulatory compliance, claims, disputes, invoicing/payments, correspondence, back charges, taxes, insurance, liability, indemnities, bonds and retentions.

• Maintain standard contract documents and prepare formal contract documentation customized to suit specific contract requirements of company operational activities.

• Ensure timely and professional service to user departments in the preparation and evaluation of bids, negotiation with bidders, and recommendation to management for approvals, preparation of contract documentation, issuance of award of contracts and regret letters, and, management and close out of contracts all in English or Bahasa Indonesian language.

• Administer Operations, Business, or External Relations group’s requests for contracts.

What skills and experience do you need?

• Tertiary degree qualification in business, engineering and/or logistics required with minimum 12 years’ Contract / Purchasing / Materials Management experience preferably within a large organization.

• 10 years of experience in Buyer with 5 of those years working as Senior Buyer in Process Fixed Plant Construction / EPC Industry;

• Experience in purchasing high dollar items and preparing complex Purchase Orders or Purchase Contracts;

• Previous experience in SAP would be preferable;

• General understanding of the Indonesian business, legal system, company law, immigration, manpower, tax, importation, mines and energy regulations;

• Strong analytical capabilities and negotiating skills, sound business sense, advanced documentation skills with high attention to detail.

• Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written and computer literate

ENGINEER – ELECTRICAL (EPC - MILL FIXED PLANT)

(National - Site Based)

Some of your duties will include:

• Coordinate the Project or Revitalization works

• Comply with P2K2, PTO and regular safety inspection (weekly or monthly)

• Work with Engineering team Provide working schedule of the projects

• Do design related to electrical and Material estimation for projects

• Prepare schedule related to electrical of the projects

• Supervise the electrical work of projects during construction

• Work with SCM team during the Tender process of the project

• Provide report of the projects started during project design process, project construction until project completion

• Inspect every task and to make sure all done in a good manner

• Report to Superintendent all issue in the field related to employees or related to works.

What skills and experience do you need?

• Graduate degree or diploma form electrical engineering

• Certified K3 Listrik as additional consideration

• A substantial amount of time spent working in Design and supervisory capacity on infrastructure projects  ( 5 + years Min)

PROJECT ENGINEER CIVIL (EPC - MILL FIXED PLANT)

(National - Site Based)

Some of your duties will include:

• Responsible for project cost and schedule control and monitoring.

• Establish the schedule and cost control function for the project, considering the role and capabilities of the existing project execution department.

• Implement existing procedures and establish new procedures where required. Required for internal working procedures and external procedures that will be applicable to contractors and vendors.

• Ensure all schedules are managed and controlled, mitigating risk for the project and conforming to project and company procedures and good international practice.

• Establish and control the overall project master schedule.

• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of all contract specific requirements related to project controls.

• Manage the engineering works, equipment supply and construction schedules from inception to completion, ensuring all conditions are met, risks and costs are managed, claims against the project are avoided and claims against the contractors are identified and processed.

• Establish supply and delivery schedules for equipment, goods and materials and commodity items.

• Management of the project change control process and ownership of project change registers to ensure all identified changes are analyzed, quantified, communicated and monitored.

• Effectively implements and manages plans, actions, procedures, and improvement strategies decided by the project management team.

• Responsible for the provision of project cost reports and the project cost function.

• Responsible for the provision of planning, scheduling and progress reports and the project planning function.

• Responsible for the provision of project estimates and the project estimating function.

• Develop the procurement and contracting schedule with the support of internal and external project stakeholders.

• During construction and commissioning, ensure that the correct documentation, drawings and other technical information related to schedule and cost management are made available to the site teams.

• Investigate and solve technical issues relating to schedule and cost control that will come up during construction and commissioning.

• Submit necessary reports and recommendations to the Project Manager concerning project status and problems.

• Manage the commercial and claim functions of the project; Provide initiatives to improve commercial awareness; Provide training delivery on control financial outcome area.

• Provide key support to project on start-up phase; Provide key support for project risk management;

• Provide technical design and analysis for Infrastructure construction and services activities; produce daily and weekly plan of project work; create monitor timeline for project work and ensure the completion on time within budget and to the required standard of quality;

• Communicate project planning issues to operation and or civil section;

• Promote continuous improvement in the design function;

• Provide direct support and governance to project control team on site for budget setup and revision; cost and progress review; month end reporting included contract valuation;

What skills and experience do you need?

• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or a commercial qualification or appropriate discipline

• Minimum 10 years project-based schedule and cost control, in EPC / Civil Construction industry preferable have exposure in Geo Thermal  Power Plant project, of which at least 5 years in a similar or equivalent position.

• Very good knowledge of schedule and cost control software packages. Good knowledge of FIDIC engineering, construction and equipment supply contracts; Very good knowledge of BOM/BOQ construction contracts.

• A thorough understanding of the project cycle, the ability to prioritise activities and to drive it to completion and to anticipate pinch points; Experienced in developing and implementing procedures and systems; Experienced in planning and executing project, construction and commissioning activities from a scheduling and cost control perspective.

• Proficient in Ms Project, Ms Office, and Desktop Publishing Package; Proficient in Planning & Scheduling area and utilisation of P6 Project management is a must.

• Proficient in Resources Analysis, understanding Contract Obligations, and Cost Control utilizing software such as SAP or other ERP.

ENGINEER CIVIL & STRUCTURAL (EPC - MILL FIXED PLANT)

(National - Site Based)

Some of your duties will include:

• Study and review engineering designs, plant and equipment specifications and other technical documentation submitted by the Engineering Consultant, equipment suppliers and construction contractors, ensuring conformance to specifications and standards and to the Owner’s requirements.

• Develop and manage the engineering design schedule and the document and information exchange schedule between the project team, the Engineering Consultant, equipment suppliers, the construction team and construction contractors (internal and external project stakeholders).

• Manage and control the document and information exchange process between internal and external project stakeholders.

• Manage terminal points and software interfaces between internal and external project stakeholders.

• During construction, ensure that the correct documentation, drawings and other technical information are made available to the site teams.

• Investigate and solve technical issues relating to drawings and engineering that will come up during construction.

• Take overall responsibility for civil and structural steel construction on site.

• Manage the civil and structural steel construction and erection contractors.

• Develop the construction schedule with the support of internal and external project stakeholders.

• Coordinate contractor support required for construction, including scope and contract development and implementation.

• Plan and schedule resources (manpower, service providers, spares and consumables, tools and equipment) needed to carry out construction activities.

• Formulate safety procedures and contribute to safety improvement in workplace by considering risk factors during construction activities.

• Minimum 10 years civil and structural engineering and construction experience (any heavy industry, with a preference in process expansion), of which at least 5 years in a similar or equivalent position.

ENGINEER DRAFTER (EPC - MILL FIXED PLANT)

Some of your duties will include:

• Create technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints using CAD software

• Assist with the design and development of engineering projects, including equipment and systems installation, upgrades, and maintenance.

• Ensure all drawings comply with relevant engineering standards, codes, and specifications.

• Preparing and updating engineering documentation such as bills of materials, assembly instructions, and technical specifications.

• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and other stakeholders to gather project requirements and ensure accuracy of drawings and designs.

• Performing basic calculations to support the drafting process, such as measurements, tolerances, and material requirements

• Participate in project meetings to discuss requirements, progress, and potential issues

PROJECT SECRETARY (EPC - MILL FIXED PLANT)

(National - Site Based)

Some of your duties will include:

• Assist manager in providing accurate, timely and good quality administrative support services of the department

• Establish filing system and procedure, prepare file, file and retrieve documents and carry out periodic records audits

• Organize and maintain work schedule, meeting appointment, provide reception services and handle phone calls

• Undertake a variety of clerical functions such as set up filing system, typing, recording and handling incoming/outgoing correspondence

• Performing copying, collating, binding, packaging etc. and disseminates routine and other documents are requested by department personnel including messenger and or mail 

• Distribute orders and acknowledgement to department staff

• Administer department's PPE entitlement, maintain office supplies inventory, leave application and maintain record

• Coordinate and arrange travel arrangement, accommodation and site passes for project personnel, vendors and visitors

• Coordinate and organize activity for formal and informal events

• Ensure compliance with the company business code ethics

• Prepare, check and submit reimbursements of expenses and arrange for payment to employees

• Prepare meeting venues and take minutes of meetings.

• Assist with reimbursement of expenses, leave and R&R rosters and schedules, transport and accommodation bookings and general office administration and management.

• Arrange site Visits with for local and overseas visitors Including seaplane/ferry bookings, hotel and hire bookings.

• Performs copying, collating, binding, packaging, etc., and disseminates routine and other documents as requested by department personnel including mail/messenger/meeting preparations.

What skills and experience do you need?

• Education equivalent to graduation from a standard high school and experience equivalent to two years of full-time increasingly responsible secretarial work.

• Prior administrative experience with 2-5 years of professional experience and a commitment to working collaboratively, including with other departments, and helping contribute to a positive and high-impact workplace.

PROJECT ADMIN. (EPC - MILL FIXED PLANT)

(National - Site Based)

Some of your duties will include:

• Provide general project administration and engineering works in drafting (civil/building, mechanical/piping and electrical) as required by the project, in accordance with related applicable design codes, project specifications, project master drawing/design and comply with Project Management Project;

• Follow up design changes as directed by engineers; maintain and ensure all records, test results and inspections required under the contract are obtain;

• Assist engineers to monitor planning and programming of design to meet and achieved required milestones;

• Assist engineers in daily evaluation for the on-going programmed and to coordinate and schedule commencement dates for major construction activities, particularly in relation to technical documents availability;

• Prepare material take off (MTO) / Bill of Quantity as per design drawing and specifications.

What skills and experience do you need?

• Tertiary Degree in Engineering or equivalent; Minimum 8 years’ experience as Project Administrator in Mill Expansion/ Process Fixed Plant Construction/ EPC industry.

• Have CAD/Engineering knowledge is preferable;

• Attention to detail; strong analytical; good communication; assertive; fluent in English both oral and written; good computer skills; work quickly and accurately; planned and target oriented; and able to work under pressure are preferred character traits.
