1. POSITION  : LOSPE Engineer / Firefighting System

Department/Project : ENGD / LOSPE

Education  : University Graduate from on Technical Major

Working Experiences : More than 10 years in similar position or similar field

Work location   : Office

REQUIRED WORKING SKILLS/QUALIFICATION/SERTIFICATION

• Has experience in FEED or/and EPCI onshore and offshore Projects.

• Has familiar/experiences in active and passive fire protection system design, active and passive fire, protection philosophy and design basis,

• Has experiences in developing active and passive fire protection specification, active fire protection specification, fire water/foam demand calculation, fire water hydraulic calculation, fire water/foam PFD and PID, passive fire protection layout, active fire protection layout,

• Has experiences in reviewing vendor document related to active fire protection equipment,

• Has knowledge for codes & standards related to active fire protection design, project standards for passive fire protection design.

BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTIONS

• Responsible to develop internal document such as passive fire protection specification, active fire protection specification, fire water/foam demand calculation, fire water hydraulic calculation, fire water/foam PFD and PID, passive fire protection layout, active fire protection layout.

• Responsible to review vendor document for active and passive fire protection equipment specification and datasheet.

• Interface with other disciplines to get and share the data related to active and passive fire protection equipment.

• Interface with vendor for active and passive fire protection equipment.

2. POSITION  : LOSPE Engineer / Risk Assessment Specialist

Department/Project : ENG / LOSPE

Education  : University Graduate from on Technical Major

Working Experiences : More than 10 years in similar position or similar field

Work location   : Office

REQUIRED WORKING SKILLS/QUALIFICATION/SERTIFICATION

• Has experience in FEED or/and EPCI on onshore and offshore Projects.

• Has experiences in preparation and review vendor document related to risk assessment/safety studies, such as vent/flare gas dispersion & heat radiation study, QRA, FERA, EERA, DOS, Noise & Vibration study.

• Familiar with applicable software; PHAST, FLARESIM.

• Has knowledge for safety and environmental regulations, codes & standards.

BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTIONS

• Responsible to develop internal safety studies, such as vent/flare gas dispersion & heat radiation study, DOS.

• Responsible to review vendor document for risk assessment/safety studies, such as QRA, FERA, EERA, DOS, Noise & Vibration study,

3. POSITION  : LOSPE Engineer / F&G System & General Safety

REQUIRED WORKING SKILLS/QUALIFICATION/SERTIFICATION

• Has experience in FEED or/and EPCI onshore and offshore Projects.

• Has experiences in F&G detection system design and general safety design.

• Has experiences in developing F&G and fire zone layout, F&G cause and effect matrix, HAC schedule and layout, emergency escape route, safety, and lifesaving equipment specification, reviewing F&G detection mapping report, review vendor document related to safety and lifesaving equipment.

• Has knowledge for codes & standards related to HAC design and project document related to design of general safety and design of F&G detection system.

4. POSITION  : Offshore Structural Material Engineer

REQUIRED WORKING SKILLS/QUALIFICATION/SERTIFICATION

• Basic knowledge of the principles of metallurgy and materials science. Basic knowledge of main

metallic (and non-metallic) materials used in the Oil and Gas sectors, their chemical, physical and mechanical properties, their applicability, and limitations.

• Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes of products used in the Oil and Gas sectors in different materials, such as: steel making, hot and cold forming, heat treatment, welding and finishing operations and their influence on final mechanical and corrosion resistance properties.

• Basic knowledge of materials suppliers in the Oil and Gas sectors, their capabilities, and limitations. Ability to review suppliers' offers, perform technical alignments and evaluations, and participate to technical meetings. Knowledge of materials destructive and non-destructive test methods used during products manufacturing, their applicability, and limitations.

• Knowledge of main applicable industry materials, international standards, and codes (such as ASME, API, ASTM, ISO, DNVGL, etc.) and ability to analyze Clients Specifications and standards.

• Basic knowledge of coating engineering, corrosion and protection would be an added value.

• Basic knowledge of welding engineering and techniques would be an added value.

BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTIONS

• Take in charge project specifications for structural materials.

• Prepare Material Requisitions based on Tekla 3D Model and other Material Take Offs and accounting for material utilization and contingencies for scraps.

• Perform technical evaluation of vendor offers.

• Prepare Technical Queries and/or Deviation Requests for acceptance of alternative materials.

• Evaluate and accept non-conformities issued by vendors.

5. POSITION  : Junior Process Engineer

Department/Project : ENGD/PCS

Education  : University Graduate from on Technical Major

Working Experiences : More than 10 years in similar position or similar field

REQUIRED WORKING SKILLS/QUALIFICATION/SERTIFICATION

• Junior / Fresh Graduated Process Engineers

• Maximum 3-years experienced in oil & gas Process Design engineering in EPC Company is an advantage but not mandatory.

• Willing to go to site or other Centres if required.

• Engineering design activities.

• Engineering standard codes and regulations.

• Engineering technical software tools.

• P and ID mechanisation. Capability to design and coordinate P&IDs for related systems. Full knowledge of Discipline workflow and of Discipline mechanisation of procedures and criteria. Full knowledge of Discipline P&IDs mechanisation battery limits.

• P and IDs, PFDs, block diagrams. Expertise in the preparation, and optimization, of block diagrams. PFDs and P&IDs. Capabilities in managing the integration with piping and instrumentation disciplines relevant to system design. Understanding of the critical issues in the design complex system and capability to steer the piping and metallurgy disciplines into the appropriate choice of material and installation constraints.

• Process design and equipment sizing. Expertise and experience in the design of different unit operation and equipment design criteria, standards and methodology for equipment, valves, packages piping, etc including relevant safety requirements and standards.

• Process dynamic simulation. Knowledge and experience in the dynamic simulation e.g., dynamic model to support overpressure analysis, design, and operation of compression system, tuning and optimization of operating parameters. 

BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTIONS

• To assist the Senior Process Engineers in preparing documentations required by the Client, including all Process drawings, calculation reports, and data sheets.

• To assist the HOD / Process Leader in several bid activities.

• Elaborate, define, size, and validate – within a process team – the various items, units, and technical deliverables to be implemented in the project. Work under supervision of the process lead.

• Develop heat and material balances using simulation software.

• Develop process flow diagrams to show unit operations necessary to convert feedstocks into on-specification products, in the most economical manner.

• Define and size equipment and instrumentation to be implemented and issue relevant process data sheets.

• Elaborate piping and instrumentation diagrams (P and IDs).

• Perform hydraulic and thermal calculations on piping system, in steady state and transient operation.

• Define the utilities requirements and design the associated systems.

• Define quantities and characteristics of effluents to be disposed to the environment.

• Ensure the preparation of operation manual and test run procedures.

• Implement contractual design philosophy.

• Check technical quality of calculations, sw simulations and deliverables produced by junior engineers.

• Take part of the multidisciplinary projects review such as P and IDs, HAZOP, 3D Model.

6. POSITION  : Civil and Structural Lead

Department/Project : ENGD / CIVIL

BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTIONS

• Lead the Civil and Structural Engineering activities in accordance with Project requirements within the assigned budget, time schedule and quality standards. Ensure compliance with all Project interfaces and supervise in/out information flow.

• Contribute to the capitalisation of Project experience to improve and harmonize work methodologies through continuous improvement and best practices.

• Implement Saipem guidelines and KPI monitoring within the Project.

The PSL ensures the execution of the engineering activities within area of responsibility, works following the TM guidelines, cooperates with the other Project positions and ensures the compliance with the QA/QC and HSE requirements. Tasks include:

A-Development of Technology know how and Commercial support.

B-Feasibility

• Provide technical support to other Project positions for specialist aspects.

C-Bidding phase/Commercial proposal

• Analyse and understand Tender documentation.

• Define Discipline list of activities and deliverables and coordinate activities in accordance with Project schedule.

• Identify technical queries, deviations, and alternatives to be submitted.

• Implement bidding methodologies, design criterias and guidelines.

• Define and issue Request for quotation for not estimated in-house items.

• Coordinate material quantities and weight estimation.

• Prepare engineering manhour and material cost estimations.

• Support the Proposal Manager during technical clarification meetings with the Client.

D-Project Execution

• Ensure the achievement of the assigned goal and the fulfillment of the Project quality and contractual requirements. Take the necessary corrective actions within the Discipline Project Team to meet the assigned goal. Report to the TM for more extensive problems.

• Define list of activities and deliverables, setup time schedule, coordinate activities in accordance with contractual requirements.

• Ensure Discipline Project progress, monitor and control manhour consumption.

• Prepare technical annexes for engineering activities to be subcontracted.

• Ensure subcontractor coordination and monitoring/reporting to PM of the Discipline budget costs.

• Ensure proper Discipline workflow, interfaces, quality checks and ap proval of all Discipline Project documents, including Vendor ones.

• Track and report to TM Discipline scope of work changes updating manhour and cost estimates.

• Provide technical support to Project functions including Procurement and Construction

• Support PM in technical interfacing with the Client (according to TM).

• Define and issue Purchase Requisitions.

• Ensure Technical Bid Evaluations.

• Ensure Vendor follow-up activities.

• Provide technical support for the definition of the Discipline construction inspection plan.

• Manage Vendor inspection test plan approval and support post order activities.
