An Indonesian mining company which operates the copper and gold mining, and have a long-term expected mine life followed by processing stockpiles.

To support our expansion project in Mining Mineral Processing Plant – Management, Process Maintenance, and Process Planning & Strategy area, we are looking for highly motivated and experienced professional to fill the following position :

SENIOR MANAGER PROCESS OPERATIONS

(National - Site Based)

Some of your duties will include:

  • Oversee plant operations to ensure production efficiency, quality, customer satisfaction and cost-effective management of resources.
  • Establish and implement safety programs in line with company values and policies.
  • Responsible for day-to-day management of the business to achieve the budgeted operating profit and working capital targets.
  • Comply with direction obtained from the North American and Global executive management team
  • Review monthly financial pack to determine progress and status in obtaining objectives and revise plans as necessary in accordance with current conditions to meet the overall objectives.
  • Ensure adequate resources (personnel, materials, equipment and training) are provided to meet the company objectives.
  • Provide mentoring and guidance to employees.
  • Chair Monthly Management meetings to evaluate the business performance and strive for continual improvement.
  • Responsible for meeting the customer, statutory and regulatory requirements of the business.
  • Establish a work environment conducive to maintaining good employee morale.

What skills and experience do you need?

  • Degree in Metallurgy or relevant discipline
  • Have middle level operational inspector certificate (POM) or qualifications certificate recognized by KaIT (Chief Mines Inspector) in accordance with level of position.
  • More than 20 years of related experience in progressive technical and supervisory experience in Copper & Gold Processing Plant with 8 years experiences in managerial role as Manager Process Operations. Experience in the management and administration of budgets and financial controls in a multinational company.
  • Demonstration of outstanding management, human relation and technical skills.
  • Demonstration in participation of management/supervisory training development programs.

TECHNICAL ADVISOR PROCESS MAINTENANCE -  FIXED PLANT

(National - Site Based)

Some of your duties will include:

  • To give professional advice and coordinate the activities of Process maintenance concentrator and work to assure that availability goals are attained so that production plans are realized, with area responsibility  Primary Crushing, Conveyor, Water treatment Plant, Milling and Pebble crushing, Float, Lime plant, Reagent Plant, Fresh water, Sea water intake, Concentrate pump, and Utility Process area also Filter plant.
  • To give mentoring, coaching and developing national superintendent and frontline foremen to develop and sustain efficient work practices and achieve world class fixed plant maintenance practices and safety culture.  Apply field experience and technical expertise to implement safe working procedures for maintenance activities.
  • Ensure that safety, equipment availability and plant production goals are met in compliance with applicable procedures, regulatory and engineering standards.
  • Perform a variety of process maintenance/operation/ engineering duties including implementation of trials and evaluation of new technologies to optimize plant performance and availability.
  • Ensures that adequate resources are available for meeting scheduled maintenance and repair needs.
  • Reviews all maintenance schedules and coordinates with other departments to assure optimal equipment and plant availability to meet business needs.
  • Responsible for supervising all maintenance Process activities. Ensuring that safe work practices are followed and conduct periodic safety inspections.

What skills and experience do you need?

  • A Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical engineering, process controls, metallurgy, chemical engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in, electrical, instrumentation &PLC/DCS systems in the mining/concentrating industry, or in a specialty area are necessary, with has minimum 5+ years’ experience working in similar role as Manager/ Senior Superintendent/ Senior Advisor in field process maintenance/ fixed plant project management;
  • Certified of Competency for Middle Operational Supervisor of OHS and Mine Environment from DEMR (POM).
  • Experience in the management and administration of budgets and financial controls in a multinational company dan process maintenance industry;
  • High computer literacy with all business and maintenance related software functions;

MANAGER PROCESS MAINTENANCE PLANNING & STRATEGY

(National - Site Based)

Some of your duties will include:

  • Responsible to oversee and manage the Planning & Strategy Department, including scope, timelines, schedule, workflow, as well as staff management including matching planning & strategy staff qualifications, skills, training and availability to Planning tasks.
  • Manage work planning and other related programs, as well as the impacts of technical specifications and regulatory requirements on planning.
  • Provide overall leadership of Planning & Strategy team, including scope, timeliness, schedule as well as staff management.
  • Lead and manage the maintenance planning and condition monitoring group within the department to ensure efficient maintenance strategies in the aim of minimizing unscheduled breakdowns and maximizing equipment healthiness.
  • Act as a champion on safety, providing leadership of a proactive safety culture, disciplined implementation of safety systems, and high-quality application of critical controls in the aim of achieving Zero Harm.
  • Provide leadership on environmental performance, through proper implementation of the company’s Environmental Management System (EMS).
  • Oversee and manage work planning to control the planning and Planning & Strategy Department effectively (specifically includes oversight of the Long-Term Maintenance Strategies contractors and their sub-contractors) to ensure alignment amongst work planning activities.
  • Oversee Process Fixed Plant equipment, data, and determinants to ensure operational readiness.
  • Oversee the plant Master Equipment and configuration to be able to effectively plan work around plant operations activities and optimize outage work.
  • Oversee, manage, and participate in the planning functions of vendors and contractors assigned to perform work in the plant to ensure alignment amongst operating schedules.
  • Coordinate with Process Operations and Maintenance Managers for work planning to ensure alignment amongst plant operations and maintenance schedules.
  • Review Work Order Closures and develop Root Cause/ Common Cause and Failure Mode analyses to support plant safety, performance, and asset reviews.
  • Review clearance, tagging, and permit requirements for work orders to ensure align with work planning requirements.
  • Manage planning maintenance Corrective Action Program requirements to ensure compliance to work planning procedures.
  • Ensure that the supplemental workers are familiar and compliant with the Conduct of Maintenance to enforce maintenance planning standards.
  • Review and design as needed for PM’s and other recurring work orders and surveillances to ensure configuration status control.
  • Coordinate with Operations & Maintenance Departments to include required elements of work events currently underway in the plant.
  • Oversee the development, assembly, and review of all the work orders to be scheduled for plant work by Maintenance to ensure alignment of personnel, resources, and equipment.
  • Oversee the inclusion of work order requirements into daily work planning to ensure compliance with work management policies and procedures.
  • Oversee management of vendor and work plans and requirements to ensure process and procedural compliance and alignment with BNPP requirements.
  • Review and provide Vendor Manuals (VM’s), warranty documents, and other external documents and data in the development of work plans and work order media to ensure qualify of vendor work.
  • Provide assistance in managing site access requirements for specialized vendor computers and Measuring and Test Equipment (M&TE) devices when required to ensure vendor compliance to security requirements.
  • Review training and qualification credential requirements for maintenance staff to ensure alignment of staff skillsets and technical qualifications.
  • Track Planning & Strategy staff qualifications, skills, training and availability to create work orders with the proper staffing.
  • Observe and track staff accountabilities, including work progress, attendance, training, etc. to ensure organizational excellence.
  • Consult and track corrective actions assigned to Planning staff members to ensure completeness of corrective action mitigation measures.
  • Ensure the development of work plans and minimize backlog to maintain operational reliability

What skills and experience do you need?

  • An advanced degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or industrial engineering.
  • 10-15 years of combined experience in the field of fixed plant maintenance and planning; An advanced degree or certification in Asset Management and/or Project Management.
  • Experience in managing condition monitoring regime of fixed plant equipment such as SAG mills, ball mills, slurry pumps, gearless motors, thickeners, well pumps, pipelines, etc.
  • Experience in generating maintenance budget and cost management of a complex process plant with more than 1,500 equipment.
  • Experience in contract management, in particular on contractor safety management and quality management of contracts.
  • Experience in the design, implementation, and use of SAP as an ERP platform; Experience in the design and execution of big-data analysis within the context of maintenance, improving planning, sequencing, and resource allocations.
  • Experience in driving continuous improvement projects in maintenance planning that results in safer and easier execution of equipment maintenance; Proven agility in responding to different situations, new challenges, and trial of new ideas; Embodies the spirit of growth and innovation through proven experience in continuous improvement in the field of maintenance and planning.
  • Government certification in POP and POM is advantageous; Experience in risk management, through risk assessments, JHA, and proper change management.
  • Experience in the development and implementation of management standards (ISO, etc.)

SUPERINTENDENT PROCESS MAINTENANCE STRATEGIC & PLANNING - FIXED PLANT

(National - Site Based)

Some of your duties will include:

  • To coordinate the activities of maintenance work to assure that availability goals are attained so that production plans are realized;
  • To develop, implement and lead mechanical maintenance for all fixed plant equipment and process systems;
  • Directly supervises the Process Upstream & Downstream Maintenance (Such as Primary Circuit Maintenance, ROM Conveying, SAG and Ball Mill Maintenance, Mill Screening & Conveying, Pumping & Cyclones, Pebble Crushing Maintenance). Sets goals and coordinates the activities of the Supervisor, Engineer and Planner to ensure that schedule maintenance and emergency repairs are accomplished with minimal disruption to production schedule;
  • Ensures that adequate resources are available for meeting scheduled maintenance and repair needs;
  • Reviews all maintenance schedules and coordinates with other departments to assure optimal equipment and plant availability to meet business needs;
  • Responsible for supervising all upstream mechanical maintenance activities and ensuring that safe work practices are followed. Conduct periodic safety inspections;
  • Monitors and reviews costs, establishes and maintains budgets and recommends the replacement or updating of equipment;
  • Oversees new installations, including design, modifications, and new installation start-ups.
  • Support and coordinate the development of maintenance plans, budgets and schedules.

  • Has minimum 5 years’ experience working in similar role as Superintendent Process Maintenance Strategic & Panning in process upstream and downstream maintenance/ fixed plant project management;
  • Has minimum frontline level operational inspector certificate (POP) or qualifications certificate recognized by KaIT (Chief Mines Inspector) in accordance with level of position;

SENIOR/ ENGINEER INSTRUMENTATION & INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION - FIXED PLANT

Some of your duties will include:

  • Respond to emergencies that could cause injury to personnel or loss of production.
  • Monitor and reviews cost, establishes and maintain budgets and recommends the replacement or updating of equipment
  • Develop and evaluate plans and criteria for a variety of projects and activities and devise new approaches to problems encountered.
  • Plan and conduct surveys, tests or investigations, interpret results, and prepare recommendations, summaries, schedules, and cost estimates. Meet with representatives of other departments to coordinate planning and scheduling activities.
  • Oversee new installations, including modifications and new installation, start – up /commissioning.
  • Reviews maintenance schedules and coordinates with other departments to ensure optimal equipment and plant availabilities to meet business also that adequate resources are available for meeting scheduled maintenance and repair needs.
  • Responsible for supervising all Electrical Instrument & Process control maintenance activities and ensuring that safe work practices are followed. Conduct periodic safety inspections, prepare STP’s (standard task procedures) and ensure that JHA`s (job hazard analysis) are performed prior to commencement of all tasks.
  • Directly supervises the Senior Supervisor, Supervisor, instrumentation, engineer process control and foreman shift on call, also coordinate activities between his/her foreman with the planning department to ensure that scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs are accomplished with minimal disruption to production schedule.
  • Support Maintenance Senior Supervisor / Supervisor electrical Upstream and Downstream a team according to plant priorities during occasions of breakdown and emergency repairs.
  • Assist in design of PLC/DCS logic and graphical screen interfaces. Help develop standardized programming and calibration procedures.
  • Develop and maintain a systematic recording system for tracking all PLC/DCS changes.
  • Oversee new equipment installations which interface with a PLC or DCS control system.
  • Ensure the transfer of technology from expatriate to National employees and the promotion and support of National employee training and skill development.

COORDINATOR ELECTRICAL DOWNSTREAM - FIXED PLANT

(National - Site Based)

Some of your duties will include:

  • Directly supervise process maintenance electrical and instrumentation Downstream equipment;
  • Schedule work orders, preventive maintenance, equipment, employee vacations, employee training and employee shifts to achieve desired throughput and availability;
  • Direct and enforce departmental procedures/policies, administer discipline, enforcing company policies, enforcing applicable safety and environmental laws and regulations.
  • Conduct safety meetings, staff meetings, planned task observations and safety inspections.
  • Regularly Facilitates and /or attends Safety toolbox meeting
  • Carry out pre-shift, pre-use & general inspections at required intervals also Conduct regular on the job task observations, provide feedback.

What skills and experience do you need?

  • Engineering qualification at Trade, Diploma or Degree level in a Electrical field or equivalent industry with 8 years’ experience with electrical or instrumentation maintenance of large machinery and piping in a milling/ processing environment are necessary.
  • Has minimum 5 years’ experience working in similar role as Coordinator/ Senior Supervisor Electrical Downstream or other field process operations electrical maintenance/ fixed plant project management will be added value;
  • Experience with large variable speed motors and controls are preferred, High Voltage Low Voltage, Large Motor, control System, UPS, etc.
  • Experience with Instrumentation calibration, fabricating, repairing, installing, and maintaining electronic circuits, equipment (including computers), design, hydraulic & pneumatic etc.
  • Experience with large grinding mills controlled by discrete digital controls systems is essential.

  • Estimating material, labor, or construction costs for budget preparation.
  • Maintaining electrical equipment and following approved company procedures plan, schedule, control and completely document all work performed on the plant DCS system and distributed PLC’s including troubleshooting and configurations changes.
  • Monitor and assist in the planning of daily and future scheduled plant repairs, included assist to work of Instrumentation and control and DCS personnel to ensure the are working in a safe and efficient manner while following approved company procedures.
  • Working with a variety of technicians.
  • Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions consistent with extreme heat, cold, wetness, dryness, dust, and noisy conditions.

What skills and experience do you need?

    • Engineering qualification at Trade, Diploma or Degree level in a Electrical field or equivalent industry with 8 years’ experience with electrical instrumentation maintenance in a milling/ processing operations/ fixed plant environment are necessary.
    • Has minimum 4 years’ experience working in similar role as Supervisor Process Maintenance Control & Instrumentation in fixed plant project management;
    • Has experience in planning and engineering in the mining/concentrating industry, or in a specialty area are necessary
    • Has Frontline level operational inspector certificate (POP) or qualifications certificate recognized by KaIT (Chief Mines Inspector) in accordance with level of position.           
    • Strong leadership and organizational, scheduling & time management skills; Ability to work both independently and as a team player and thrive in a fast paced, high pressure environment; Ability to communicate well, and work productively with internal and external individuals; A commitment to safety and a desire to maintain our Indonesian mining operations to world class international safety standards;

SENIOR ENGINEER PLC/DCS & INSTRUMENT - FIXED PLANT

(National - Site Based)

Some of your duties will include:

  • Schedule and coordinate the work of project members in order to complete work on time and within budget parameters.
  • Respond to emergencies that could cause injury to personnel or loss of production.
  • Monitor and reviews cost, establishes and maintain budgets and recommends the replacement or updating of equipment
  • Develop and evaluate plans and criteria for a variety of projects and activities and devise new approaches to problems encountered.
  • Plan and conduct surveys, tests or investigations, interpret results, and prepare recommendations, summaries, schedules, and cost estimates. Meet with representatives of other departments to coordinate planning and scheduling activities.
  • Oversee new installations, including modifications and new installation, start – up /commissioning.
  • Reviews maintenance schedules and coordinates with other departments to ensure optimal equipment and plant availabilities to meet business also that adequate resources are available for meeting scheduled maintenance and repair needs.
  • Responsible for supervising all Electrical Instrument & Process control maintenance activities and ensuring that safe work practices are followed. Conduct periodic safety inspections, prepare STP’s (standard task procedures) and ensure that JHA`s (job hazard analysis) are performed prior to commencement of all tasks.
  • Directly supervises the Supervisor, engineer process control and Electric instrumentation shift on call, also coordinate activities between his/her Electric Instrumentation with the planning department to ensure that scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs are accomplished with minimal disruption to production schedule.
  • Support Maintenance Supervisor/ Electric instrumentation Upstream and Downstream a team according to plant priorities during occasions of breakdown and emergency repairs.
  • Assist in design of PLC/DCS logic and graphical screen interfaces. Help develop standardized programming and calibration procedures.
  • Develop and maintain a systematic recording system for tracking all PLC/DCS changes.
  • Oversee new equipment installations which interface with a PLC or DCS control system.
  • Ensure the transfer of technology from expatriate to National employees and the promotion and support of National employee training and skill development.
  • Apply Change Management consistently in the workplace
  • Develop monthly plan & weekly schedule in line with forecast
  • Follow up & Implement action items and contingency plans.
  • Ensure that All Crew Members Understand and Follow Standard Task Procedure
  • Ensure that work is completed in a timely fashion to satisfactory Standard
  • Provide Mentoring and Coaching to Subordinates
  • Ensure system in place for periodic review of W/O's, equipment history and costs to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Ensure to comply with out audits and inspections in compliance with Environmental tracker
  • Ensure and maintain all material storage areas to comply with company policies

What skills and experience do you need?

  • A Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, process controls, metallurgy, chemical engineering or a related discipline with minimum 12 years’ experience in PLC/DCS and or Instrumentation systems in the mining/concentrating industry (include: installation, logic development, programming, calibration, and record keeping), or in a specialty area are necessary;
  • Has minimum 4 years’ experience working in similar role as Sr. Engineer PLC/ DCS & Instrument in fixed plant project management;
  • Experience in control logic related to large grinding mills and process Plant;
  • Has frontline level operational inspector certificate (POP) or qualifications certificate recognized by KaIT (Chief Mines Inspector) in accordance with level of position;    
  • Strong leadership and organizational, scheduling & time management skills; Ability to work both independently and as a team player and thrive in a fast paced, high pressure environment; Ability to communicate well, and work productively with internal and external individuals; A commitment to safety and a desire to maintain our Indonesian mining operations to world class international safety standards;
  • Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written and computer literate.

SENIOR ENGINEER RELIABILITY MAINTENANCE- FIXED PLANT

(National - Site Based)

Some of your duties will include:

  • Provides Reliability and Maintenance Engineering expertise within the Process Maintenance Department to ensure the continuous improvement of Process Department equipment reliability and infrastructure integrity;
  • Make important equipment and infrastructure reliability recommendations required to support improving machine maintenance and reliability improvements to minimize operating cost and minimize production losses. This is a critical position as mistakes may result in direct production loss;
  • Provide senior level engineering maintenance and reliability engineering service within the Process Maintenance Department;
  • Review and critique work of others in the department for technical correctness;
  • Ensure all subordinates present work to originator and obtain satisfactory acceptance sign-off;
  • Ensures that all work is properly documented, filed and recorded for future reference;
  • Performs all functions of RCA, FMECA, and Pareto analysis;
  • Provides engineering drawings/specifications; obtains construction bids; and performs construction management as required;
  • Provides data interpretation with recommendations on vibration analysis, oil analysis, wear materials non-destructive testing, gear wear monitoring/failure analysis and equipment failure history analysis.

What skills and experience do you need?

  • Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 10 years’ experience in reliability maintenance in the mining/concentrating industry, or in a specialty area are necessary;
  • Has minimum 4 years’ experience working in similar role as Senior Engineer – Reliability Maintenance in a large scale mineral concentrating industry;
  • Experience in RCM and RCA program; Knowledge of plan-making and project evaluation; Ability to carry out RCA, FMECA & Pareto analysis;
  • Has Frontline level operational inspector certificate (POP) or qualifications certificate recognized by KaIT (Chief Mines Inspector) in accordance with level of position.Certifications;
  • Strong leadership and organizational, scheduling & time management skills; Ability to work both independently and as a team player and thrive in a fast paced, high pressure environment; Ability to communicate well, and work productively with internal and external individuals; A commitment to safety and a desire to maintain our Indonesian mining operations to world class international safety standards;
  • Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written and computer literate (proficiently in MS Office and MS Project is a must).
