Under the Production Sharing Contract arrangements with SKK MIGAS, PETRONAS Indonesia Operations is looking for the following professionals:

1. Sr. Facilities Engineer

Plan, Manage, Execute, Monitor and Control the development of Development Concepts, Area Development Plan (ADP), Field Development Plan (FDP), Project Management & Engineering Strategic Initiatives, Interface and Surveillance activities which focus on Feasibility Study, Concept Development and Front End Engineering Design Phase towards maximizing value, ensuring sustainability, cost optimization and schedule enhancement on projects development and asset acquisition whilst protecting PETRONAS interest and value.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related discipline with minimum 8 – 12  years of experience in upstream business of oil and gas industry.

• Cost Estimation, Planning and Operational experience are an added advantage to integrate and exercise front end engineering design activities from multifaceted perspectives and drivers. Experience and competent in Front End Engineering of greenfield and brownfield projects, with good understanding of subsurface and process design. Liaison with Headquarters and industry is required to keep abreast of latest technologies and new ways in the area of oil and gas facilities design. 

•  Possess strong interpersonal qualities with good relationship building, networking, leadership skills and independent, as well as good teamwork player.

•  Capable to provide total technical integrity solutions and expertise through technical review/ compliance checks and specialized studies; and continuously assess and enhance design concepts, strategies, philosophies, standards, and specifications in accordance with company, local and international requirements.

•  Familiar with Questor software is as an advantage.

2. Pipeline Engineer

Lead and drive all pipeline engineering and integrity activities covering operational pipeline engineering upgrade and modification, pipeline engineering input for new facilities, pipeline cleaning and integrity monitoring, pipeline underwater inspection, emergency pipeline repair, structured and computerized data management system to meet the company business/HSE objectives using the most cost-effective and safe way in the oil and gas production activities.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in civil engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Pipeline Engineering or equivalent with minimum 5 years of oil and gas industry experience. Experience in pipeline integrity activities, contract management, pipeline inspection, cleaning and inspection data interpretation is an added advantage. Experiences in reviewing pipeline engineering and have extensive knowledge and familiar with different pipeline design codes e.g. ASME B31.8, DNVGL RP F101, API 1111, API 1104, and other international codes and standards applicable for Pipeline system design e.g. DNVGL, ISO, NACE.

3. Business Development Manager

Provide direction and lead the formulation of strategies and influence Operator to implement plans for reserves monetization, development of oil and gas fields in order to maximize value and to meet target value creation for production growth in line with PETRONAS’ Corporate Agenda. Also monitors corporate governance, provide board support along with partner relationships management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Geoscience.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Business Planning, Commercial, Operations Management.

• Minimum 12-15 years experiences in JV in upstream oil and gas industry.

• Good command of written and spoken English.

• Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.

• Good analytical and negotiation skills.

• Well-versed with PSC Management e.g. PSC, JOA, Accounting Procedures and other legal documents attached to the respective PSCs.

• Brief company directors for Board meetings and key decisions and prepare support materials as needed.

• Oversee or conduct analysis on joint ventures (JVs), prepare materials for internal approvals (e.g., capital investments), and manage review and alignment processes.

• Assist the JVs in accessing resources and services (e.g., skills, data, tools, best practices, relationships) inside the company.

• Monitor and manage or coordinate information requests, audits, site visits, and communications between PETRONAS Carigali and JVs.

• Understand all interfaces (e.g., services, support agreements) between company and JVs, and intervene where necessary to ensure value creation and maintain support.

• Manage ongoing operational reporting, including JV audit, projects progress and tracking and investor-level reporting.

• Help develop the company’s strategy and business plan for JVs.

• Develop and drive the implementation of a coordinated influencing plan in line with the company’s approved strategy and business plan.

• Proactively identify opportunities for performance improvement or synergy capture, develop associated business cases, and negotiate with JVs/partners to adopt.

• Develop and annually update JVs risk registries, including company and JV risks.

4. Mechanical Rotating Engineer

Plan, monitor and implement all mechanical rotating maintenance activities within approved budget and resources, in compliance with safety, quality and statutory requirements of all facilities onshore and offshore to achieve targeted plant availability and reliability, and to maximize production for Indonesia Operations. Plan, develop and implement the mechanical rotating maintenance strategy by following upstream inspection and maintenance guideline (UIMAGe), collecting and analyzing historical data to ensure maximum plant uptime, sustainable production in compliance to Maintenance Reference Plan (MRP) and ensure that the plan is executed within the available resources and achieve most cost-effective plant availability and reliability.

Requirement

• Degree in any Engineering disciplines or equivalent.

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in upstream operations is an added advantage.
