REQUIRED WORKING SKILLS/QUALIFICATION/SERTIFICATION
1. Accounting standards/principles. Knowledge of international and national accounting standards and principles (mainly IAS/IFRS) in order to understand and analyze financial books and records. 7. Guarantees and bonds. Knowledge of commercial techniques for issuing guarantees and bonds in order to ensure banks and insurance guarantees credit lines.
8. Liquidity Management. Knowledge of the nature of liquidity risk, of its related market instruments and techniques, of the methods that can be used to measure exposure to liquidity risk, and how liquidity risk can be managed through the effective structuring of assets (particularly liquid assets) and liabilities (particularly debt liabilities).

1. Offshore structure installation/operation. Capability to perform structure (jacket, modules, manifolds, templates, small items) installation/construction and design all installation Aids, in agreement and liaising with drafting department, lead method and vessel operation. Interpretation of installation engineering results relevant to the activity
2. Offshore pipeline/subsea installation and Operations. Capability to install offshore pipelines and subsea items (pipelines, flexibles, umbilical, risers) including specific ancillaries in agreement and liaising with drafting department, lead methods and vessel operations.
3. Engineering design activities. Knowledge of Discipline engineering design criteria, methods, and workflows from conceptual phase up to site engineering phase. BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTIONS
1. Report to Offshore Method Lead
2. Draw up a general engineering schedule as stipulated by the contract to be revised by the Project.
3. Identify technical problems and make the necessary technical decisions within the limitations imposed by contractual Requirements.
4. Draw up definitions and detailed specifications of tasks and sub-tasks or supervise their drafting by other resources if requested.
5. Define the materials or services to be purchased for engineering tasks within the allocated resource budget, in conjunction with his direct responsible.
6. Approve all the technical design necessary for the purchase and/or construction of products to be supplied to the Client.
7. Participate to meetings to examine and, if necessary, audit the technical design, and take part in technical examinations with the Client. Cost and scheduling decisions which influence contractual obligations or other functions must be approved by the Project Engineer (if any) and communicated to the Engineering Manager and Project Manager
8. Notify his direct responsible and the Project Manager of any problems occurring with any other engineering areas.

Knowledge of various type of welding machines (e.g. automatic, mechanized, etc..) and capability to select the main welding consumables (wires, flux, electrodes, filling rods, shielding gas, etc..) and define their storage requirements. Knowledge of different international codes/standards to develop and review Preliminary Welding Procedure Specification (PWPS) and Welding Procedure Specification (WPS), including welding repair procedures. Capability to use the main test and measuring instruments to monitor the welding process parameters/performance. Knowledge of mechanical and metallurgical testing to be performed during the Procedure Qualification Record (PQR) execution and review. Capability to analyze the specific Project requirements and identify implementation action on the PQRs, WPSs and Project documents for production coverage. Knowledge of main NDT methods and equipment, capability to notice indications and defects on the welded joints.
15. Welding materials and equipment. Knowledge of welding equipment of common use in Maxima Eos projects. Capability to perform trouble shooting and propose corrective action. Capability to identify the most suitable equipment and equipment consumable for any specific case.
16. HSE Work Practices. Knowledge of the main risks during the operation activities and safe working and environmental protection procedures/practices & rules to be applied. Knowledge of adequate Personal Protective Equipment - purpose, use and maintenance Knowledge and the correct use of Permit to Work system.
BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTIONS
1. Follow welding through all its aspects from bid phase when welding philosophy has to be set to Project completions, looking at solutions of high quality level and high productivity, according to Project Schedule, monitoring and supporting Production Phase.
2. Promote and support new welding solutions, techniques and consumables to achieve the most competitive and strategic results
3. Assist and support the Welding Coordinator and/or project teams on all welding matters
4. Prepare and issue preliminary Welding Documents for assigned project or bids
5. Review clients specifications and scopes of work, examine pipe metallurgy and prepare detailed Welding procedures to achieve maximum productivity in accordance with required quality levels
6. Coordinate and schedule personnel and systems for the qualification of welding procedures and welders
7. Review subcontractors tender documents and technical qualifications
8. Assist QHSE Department on subcontractor assessments/audits
9. Review and approve subcontractors Welding submissions
10. Ensure that Welding traceability info are recorded, maintained and available in the required format for all Welding activities to demonstrate achievement of client requirements
11. Review journals and technical papers for new welding technology. Maintain contact with welding equipment suppliers and consumable vendors to promote advances in welding technology
12. Maintain updated departmental project Welding files and database so that information is readily available to other department members
13. Liaise with the barge personnel, particularly welding supervisors and operative welding figures, and assist in optimising work methods and trouble shooting where and when required
14. Monitor laybarge progress to identify opportunities for improvement
15. Contract Technical review to verify Project Technical requirements for Welding Activities
16. Propose the Base material Purchase strategy for a fabrication Project
17. Prepare and issue Welding Documents (Welding Books, WPSs, WPQR, PTW report, Procedures, etc.)
18. Evaluate and estimate type and quantity of welding consumables
19. Prepare Purchase Requests for Welding Consumable
20. Monitor Consumables consumes along the project, evaluating additional Consumable Purchase, if required
21. Monitor the Welding Quality trough the analysis of the trends of Project Defect Rates and Welders defect rates prepared by QHSE Dept., proposing improvement actions.
