PT Agincourt Resources (PTAR) specialises in gold and silver exploration, mining and processing within the Martabe Gold Mine. Our operational area is situated in Province of North Sumatra, with overall management functions based in Jakarta.

In 2023 employing a workforce of over 3,000 employees and contractors. Over 99% of our workforce are Indonesian Citizens (WNI), with more than 70% locally recruited. Going forward, the Company will continue to be committed to implementing operational activities to secure and sustainable operations, minimal environmental impact and long-term benefits for local stakeholders.

The Martabe Gold Mine, situated in South Tapanuli Regency, North Sumatra, spans 657 hectares per December 2023 and commenced production on July 24, 2012. It boasts an annual capacity exceeding 6 million tonnes of ore, resulting in an annual output of over 200,000 ounces of gold and 1-2 million ounces of silver.

All of the operation activity is governed by a 30-year Contract of Work (CoW) in collaboration with the Government of Indonesia, the mining area has evolved from the original 6,560 km2 in 1997 to its present refinement of 130,252 hectares (1,303 km2), encompassing the South Tapanuli, Central Tapanuli, North Tapanuli and Mandailing Natal Regencies. The operational area of the Martabe Gold Mine in South Tapanuli Regency is 657 hectares as of December 2023.

To enhance the capabilities of the current OHS team and to facilitate the fulfillment of departmental goals, Martabe Gold Mine is seeking a qualified individual to assume the position of:

SUPERVISOR – TRAINER HSE (OHS 2403015)

This position will be based at the Martabe Site within the OHS Department, with direct reporting to the Senior Supervisor of Safety and Mobile Equipment Training.

The primary responsibility of the Supervisor-Trainer HSE is to develop and execute training programs aimed at enhancing the knowledge and skills of all PTAR personnel. These programs are designed to ensure continuous improvement in Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) practices, enabling personnel to work safely and efficiently in compliance with relevant company policies, as well as government regulations and legislation. The incumbent will serve as the primary trainer and assessor for various HSE competency training programs and awareness initiatives.

Applicants for this position are required to fulfill the following qualifications and criteria:

1. Hold a minimum of a Bachelor's degree (S1) in a Technical program, Education & Training, or a related field.

2. Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in the mining industry, with at least 3 years spent as a Vehicle/Equipment Operator Training Trainer.

3. Hold certifications in Trainer, Training of Trainers (TOT), Rigger, Defensive Driving Trainer, Expert OHS/AK3, or various MINERBA Vehicle Certificates.

4. Demonstrate competency as a supervisor and hold a minimum POP certificate from Minerba, with preference given to those holding a POM certificate.

5. Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of Equipment Operator Standards.

6. Show a strong awareness of operational safety issues and maintain an excellent personal safety record.

7. Be capable of developing training packages.

8. Possess current Indonesian light vehicle licenses.

9. Display excellent active listening and communication skills, both orally and in writing.

10. Demonstrate a commitment to continuous self-improvement.

11. Have the ability to cultivate positive working relationships, demonstrate understanding and respect towards others, and foster strong team dynamics.

12. Exhibit proficiency in creating and managing realistic and comprehensive short-term and long-term work plans, including the monitoring and evaluation of progress.

13. Possess strong analytical skills, with the ability to conduct research, process information, and solve problems. A proactive approach and the ability to generate new ideas are highly valued.

SUPERVISOR – SAFETY (OHS 2403016)

This position will be based at the Martabe Site within the OHS Department, with direct reporting to the Senior Supervisor - Safety.

The responsibilities of the Supervisor – Safety is to entail fostering a secure work environment through the efficient utilization of various Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) tools and procedures. This includes the implementation of Annual Safety Programs and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Applicants for this position are required to fulfill the following qualifications and criteria:

1. Possess formal qualifications such as a Diploma in Health and Safety or a related field.

2. Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Safety, preferably within the mining industry.

3. Hold SMKP Implements certification and be a registered internal auditor with an ESDM certificate.

4. Demonstrate knowledge in the field of Health and Safety.

5. Exhibit familiarity with the Mine Safety Act and Regulations.

6. Demonstrate proficiency in risk assessment and risk management.

7. Possess knowledge of incident investigation practices to identify causes and implement remedial actions.

8. Be acquainted with open pit mining operations and the operation of Heavy Moving Equipment.

9. Display excellent interpersonal skills, collaborating effectively within teams to maintain a harmonious working environment.

10. Show enthusiasm, self-motivation, and the ability to achieve work objectives with minimal supervision.

11. Have proficient written and verbal communication skills in English.

12. Be capable of obtaining an Indonesia Driver’s License.

13. Demonstrate competency in personal computer applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

14. Possess excellent active listening and communication skills, both verbally and in writing.

15. Exhibit a commitment to continuous self-improvement.

16. Have the ability to foster positive working relationships, understand and respect others, and build strong team dynamics.

17. Demonstrate proficiency in creating and managing realistic and comprehensive short-term and long-term work plans, including monitoring and evaluating progress.
