PT Agincourt Resources (PTAR) specialises in gold and silver exploration, mining and processing within the Martabe Gold Mine. Our operational area is situated in Province of North Sumatra, with overall management functions based in Jakarta.
In 2023 employing a workforce of over 3,000 employees and contractors. Over 99% of our workforce are Indonesian Citizens (WNI), with more than 70% locally recruited. The Martabe Gold Mine, situated in South Tapanuli Regency, North Sumatra, spans 657 hectares per December 2023 and commenced production on July 24, 2012. It boasts an annual capacity exceeding 6 million tonnes of ore, resulting in an annual output of over 200,000 ounces of gold and 1-2 million ounces of silver.
All of the operation activity is governed by a 30-year Contract of Work (CoW) in collaboration with the Government of Indonesia, the mining area has evolved from the original 6,560 km2 in 1997 to its present refinement of 130,252 hectares (1,303 km2), encompassing the South Tapanuli, Central Tapanuli, North Tapanuli and Mandailing Natal Regencies. As of June 2023, the mineral resources totalled 6.2 million ounces of gold and 59 million ounces of silver.
Martabe Gold Mine is currently seeking a qualified individual to join our Human Resources team to strengthen its capabilities and support the achievement of departmental objectives.
SUPERVISOR - RECRUITMENT (HR 2505027)
This position will be located at the Martabe Site within the Human Resources Department and will report directly to the Senior Supervisor – Recruitment.
The role of Supervisor – Recruitment is to oversee the recruitment process for new hires across all departments. This includes ensuring that all recruitment activities are conducted safely, adhere to established procedures and regulations, deliver excellent service, meet specified targets, and align with the Manpower Planning and Manning Budget. The position is also responsible for managing the implementation of the Internship Program in accordance with company policies, including the recruitment process for outsourced personnel. Additionally, this role involves managing HR events such as the Employee Service Recognition Award, Independence Day celebrations, Family Days, and other related activities.
Candidates for this position are expected to meet the following qualifications and criteria:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Psychology/Law.
2. Minimum 3 years of work experience in recruitment and selection, preferably within the mining industry.
3. Possession of Supervisor - Recruitment and Selection certificate from BNSP
4. Familiarity with Indonesian labor laws.
5. Proficiency in recruitment and assessment tools.
6. Experience in interview techniques, psychological assessment tools, scoring, and interpretation.
7. Strong ability to listen and convey information effectively, both verbally and in writing.
8. Demonstrated leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
9. Ability to develop realistic and comprehensive short-term and long-term work plans, as well as manage and monitor their execution.
10. Strong skills in monitoring, evaluation, and report preparation.
11. Capability to evaluate task implementation and coordinate effectively with the recruitment and HR teams, as well as other departments.

ENGINEER - GEOTECHNICAL (GS 2505026)
This position will be based at the Martabe Gold Mine Site within the Geotechnical & Survey Department and will report directly to the Senior Engineer – Geotechnical.
The Engineer – Geotechnical is responsible for executing and overseeing daily geotechnical activities that support the Martabe Open Cut Mine operations. Key responsibilities include assessing the performance of pit walls, waste dumps, and main infrastructure slopes; collecting and reporting visual and instrumentation monitoring data; conducting slope hazard and geotechnical risk assessments; maintaining effective communication protocols with Mine Operations personnel; and ensuring regular updates and reporting of geotechnical conditions and activities.
Candidates for this position are expected to meet the following qualifications and criteria:
1. Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Geology, Geological Engineering, Mining Engineering, or Civil Engineering.
2. At least 3 years of relevant experience in geotechnical engineering and hydrogeology within open-pit mining operations.
3. Proficient in the use of geotechnical engineering software (e.g., Rocscience, Leapfrog, monitoring systems such as GroundProbe, Hexagon, etc.).
4. Skilled in Surpac, AutoCAD, and MapInfo.
5. Holder of a valid POP certification issued by the Indonesian Mining Department.
6. Strong proficiency in both written and spoken English.
7. Capable in project scheduling and execution.
8. Demonstrated problem-solving and organizational skills.
9. Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
10. Effective listener with the ability to convey information clearly, both verbally and in writing.

PLANT METALLURGIST (MET 2505024)
This position will be based at the Martabe Gold Mine Site within the Processing (Metallurgy) Department and will report directly to the Senior Metallurgist.
The Plant Metallurgist is responsible for assisting in monitoring and reporting on all aspects of plant performance. This role provides technical and operational support to the Operations Team to ensure that all metallurgical parameters and control strategies in the process plant meet design specifications, with a strong focus on safety, environmental compliance, productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
The Plant Metallurgist also supports the Data Entry Clerk in completing timely metallurgy reports, including daily, weekly, and monthly reports. Additionally, this role assists in supervising the work of Metallurgical Technicians in the metallurgical laboratory and the processing plant, including during survey campaigns to assess plant performance.
Candidates for this position are expected to meet the following qualifications and criteria:
1. Tertiary qualification in Metallurgy or Mineral Processing.
2. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a production metallurgical role within the resource sector.
3. At least 1 year of hands-on experience in CIL/CIP gold processing operations.
4. Solid understanding of the process flow and operational principles of a CIL Process Plant.
5. Proven ability to identify sources of variability and provide practical recommendations for performance improvement.
6. Demonstrated capability to supervise and coordinate the daily, weekly, and monthly activities of metallurgical technicians.
7. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, process, and interpret data for troubleshooting plant issues.
8. Comprehensive knowledge of occupational hazards and safety practices relevant to mineral processing environments.
9. Proficient in both verbal and written English, with the ability to effectively understand and follow oral and written instructions.
10. Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet-based applications.
11. Possession of a valid driver’s license.
