Seleraya Merangin Dua (SRMD) is an oil and gas company engaged in the oil and gas exploration and production. SRMD operates in South Sumatra and Jambi provinces, with a strong commitment to becoming a leading oil and gas company while contributing to national development.

Currently we are looking for qualified personnel with high motivation, initiative, and integrity to fill the following position:

 

Instrument Engineer

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and implement instrumentation systems for new and existing projects.

- Prepare engineering documentation including datasheets, instrument index, I/O lists, and specifications.

- Perform calculations and technical evaluations for control and instrumentation systems.

- Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards such as API, ASME, and ISO.

- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including process, mechanical, and electrical engineers.

- Participate in safety studies (HAZOP, HAZID, FMEA) and risk assessments.

- Provide technical support during procurement, fabrication, installation, commissioning, and start-up phases.

- Conduct site inspections and support maintenance and troubleshooting of instrumentation systems.

- Ensure mechanical integrity and reliability of field instrumentation and control systems.

- Maintain documentation and ensure traceability of all changes during the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Physics/ Instrument Engineering.

- Min. 4 years of experiences in oil & gas industry / oil & gas services.

- Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.)

- Strong understanding of piping and pipeline design (ASME B31.3, B31.4, B31.8)

- Knowledge of rotating and static equipment (pumps, compressors, heat exchangers)

- Experience with material selection for high-pressure and corrosive environments

- Familiar with pressure vessel and tank design principles

- Skilled in welding processes, fabrication methods, and non-destructive testing (NDT)

- Competent in thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and control system logic

- Experienced in maintenance and inspection procedures for both onshore and offshore assets

- Proficient in mechanical integrity and reliability engineering practices

- Solid understanding of safety analysis techniques (HAZOP, HAZID, FMEA)

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

 

Internal Audit

Responsibilities

- Assist in planning and executing internal audit assignments across departments and operational sites

- Collect, analyze, and examine accounting documentation, reports, data, and operational practices

- Evaluate internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations

- Participate in risk assessments and help identify areas of potential exposure or inefficiency

- Prepare accurate audit working papers and draft audit findings and recommendations

- Support the preparation of audit reports and present findings to the Audit Manager

- Monitor follow-up actions to ensure timely implementation of corrective measures

- Collaborate with finance, operations, procurement, and other departments to gather relevant information

- Stay updated on industry regulations, accounting standards, and best practices in internal auditing

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field

- 1 - 2 years of audit experience, preferably in oil & gas industry.

- Basic knowledge of auditing standards and financial reporting frameworks

- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

- Strong understanding of internal control frameworks

- High attention to detail and accuracy

- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

- Good communication and interpersonal abilities

- Ability to work independently and in a team-based environment

- Eagerness to learn and develop auditing knowledge in a complex industry
