Mineral Resources Mineral Reserves (MRMR) Mine Engineering Specialist

Work Location: Sorowako For National Recruitment

Purpose of the Role

As part of PT Vale Indonesia Tbk MRMR Coordination Team and Corporate Qualified Person to prepare and certify the annual PTVI Corporate MRMR Statement, provide mine engineering technical support to the operations and project teams, provide MRMR technical input and reviews at project tollgate / maturity assessments and to improve processes involved with Mineral Reserves estimation in order to meet with operations the projects objectives to improve efficiency and consistency while maintaining quality and compliance with PTVI Guidelines and Standards for Mineral Reserve and Mineral Resource Estimation and Reporting and industrial regulatory in Mineral Reserve reporting codes applied in Indonesia (Kode KCMI and SNI-4726).

Accountabilities:

1. To prepare and certify (sign-off) the annual PTVI Corporate Mineral Reserves part of MRMR Statement in compliance of PTVI Guidelines and Standards for Mineral Resources Mineral Reserves Reporting.

2. To ensure the Mineral Reserves supporting the Vale annual disclosure in 20F filing are estimated in accordance with the PTVI Guidelines and compliant with SEC S-K 1300.

3. To ensure the required technical assurance and governance is satisfied for the estimation, reporting and disclosure of PTVI Mineral Reserves compliant with PTVI Guidelines and Standards for Mineral Resources and Mineral Reserves Reporting and in accordance with applicable industry regulatory codes (Kode KCMI and SNI-4726).

4. To develop, maintain and communicate PTVI Mineral Reserves estimation and reporting standards

in accordance with PTVI’s corporate requirements and best industry practices legal requirements.

5. To review and recommend changes to PTVI guideline standards, procedures leading practices when required based on amendments to external regulations where appropriate to ensure operations and projects are meeting the expectations of the corporation.

6. To execute technical reviews, to provide input on and to approve all PTVI MRMR statements and public disclosure involving or impacting Mineral Reserves information and reports outlining the areas for improvement.

7. To facilitate and to support internal and external audits and third-party reviews of Mineral Reserves estimates.

8. To perform risk assessments of Mineral Reserves estimates, Life of Mine Plan and production issues as per the annual cycle at the Operations (including process plants), Mines and Projects and to work with Exploration, Mine Geology and Engineering, Mineral Project, Processing and Operations teams to ensure action plans to mitigate the risks are identified and tracked via the MRMR risk register and to prioritize and provide technical support to systematically resolve identified issues and risks.

9. To provide mine engineering technical support to the operations and project teams including to support the assessment of business development opportunities, to provide MRMR technical input and reviews at project tollgate / maturity assessments and to improve processes involved with MRMR estimation in order to improve efficiency and consistency while maintaining quality.

10. To ensure the annual Mineral Reserves reporting is completed as per the schedule.

11. To provide MRMR professional development and to develop the MRMR knowledge and understanding for CPIs/ CPs and across the business.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mine Engineering.

• Minimum 8 (eight) years of experience in Nickel Laterite.

• Competent Person Indonesia (CPI) Certificate for Mineral Reserves Estimation Reporting for Nickel Laterite deposit under Kode KCMI 2017 (Mandatory).

• Membership of Recognized Professional Organization (i.e. Perhapi, AusIMM, AIG, APGO) (Mandatory).

• CP (Competent Person) for Mineral Reserves Estimation Reporting under SNI 4726 2019 (Preferred).

• Competency Certificate for NQF 6, Long Term Mine Planning of Open Pit (Preferred).

• Middle Management Operational Supervisor/ Pengawas Operational Madya (POM) (Preferred).

• Profesional Engineering Certification (IPM/ P.Eng) (Preferred).

• Have experience or knowledge in the Occupational Health, Safety and Environment Management System (SMK3L) (Preferred).

Position:

Procurement Analyst

Work Location: Sorowako For National Recruitment

Purpose of the Role

To support the procurement of goods and services in line with targeted service levels, meeting customer requirements at the most cost-effective total cost in accordance with procurement procedures. Build communication between users and suppliers, prepare and control tender processes and documentation. This role includes tender processes, evaluation, recommendations, and obtaining approval for contracts and purchase orders based on the authority matrix.

Accountabilities:

1. Implement Environmental, Health, Safety, and Risk (EHSR) standards and regulations by ensuring workplace conditions, equipment, materials, methods, worker behavior, and 5S in the assigned area to minimize risks, achieve safe and secure conditions (Zero Harm), maintain a clean environment, and meet productivity targets.

2. Carefully ensure compliance with licensing requirements, applicable laws and regulations, company policies and procedures, and occupational health, safety, and environmental requirements, and coordinate with relevant stakeholders as needed.

3. Maintain confidentiality of information and promote compliance with PT Vale Indonesia Tbk’s business

conduct and ethics standards among suppliers and users through daily communication and interaction.

4. Evaluate procurement requests for goods and services in accordance with standards, establish contract strategies and tender plans, and ensure that appropriate documentation is prepared and reviewed by all relevant parties.

5. Develop appropriate evaluation methodologies for tender evaluations, including evaluation criteria and weighting matrices, and perform bid analysis in accordance with procurement procedures.

6. Ensure tender clarification processes are fully documented and communicated in accordance with tender instructions.

7. Prepare procurement contract documents for goods and services, evaluate and adjust contract clauses based on contract type, applicable regulations and laws, company policies, and negotiation outcomes.

8. Monitor contracts and purchases (routine and non-routine) to ensure smooth procurement cycles, prevent process delays, payment delays, and delivery delays, and follow up on any non-conformities in purchases.

9. Prepare, compile, and evaluate comprehensive and accurate documents using electronic and manual record systems, ensuring auditability and compliance monitoring with contract requirements.

10. Provide direct support to sponsors at the required service level in contract administration tasks, including performance metrics, performance reviews, payments, and dispute resolution. Proactively provide considerations, recommendations, and suggestions to Supervisors, whether requested or not.

11. Fully participate in cross-functional teams and the Procurement team, ensuring information is properly researched, prepared, and presented to support team objectives and maintaining full commitment to the team.

Position:

Senior Coordinator for Publication, Reporting, and Public Relations

Purpose of the Role

Executes communication plans based on corporate communication strategy, provides communication initiatives to support company’s positive image and relationship with external and internal stakeholders, promotes company’s brand and image through actions on public relations matters, and supports company’s campaign programs through delivery of proper and updated communication channels, and conducts proper and accurate evaluation on communication programs to ensure effectiveness. He/she is also responsible for reporting the activities of communications and publications, as well as core program which is called Integrated Program for Community Empowerment (PPM), stakeholder mapping analysis support, narrative advocacy, ROI updates in compliance with the standards of corporate reporting.

Accountabilities:

1. Implementing and supervising Environment, Health, Safety, and Risk (EHSR) standards and regulations and energy management system by ensuring working environmental conditions, equipment, materials, methods, worker behavior, and 5S under area responsibility with the aim of minimizing risk, achieving safe and secure conditions (Zero Harm), clean environment, and achieved work productivity targets.

2. Setting up a communication channel to convey concepts and disseminate information in a campaign for internal and external stakeholders, maintain and ensure the budget for communications is self-guarded.

3. Provides a communication channel in the form of: (1) print, (2) online media, (3) multimedia (TV, video, radio), which is tailored to the topic, scope, and expected segmentation of information recipients.

4. Organizing Public Relations programs either for internal or external parties, in various forms, such as public campaigns, exhibitions, competition, production of merchandise, banners, posters, leaflets, billboards and other communication tools required, and periodic publications campaigned.

5. Actively involved in the drafting team of the company performance report, both in general company or Corporate Affairs social programs, to promote company achievements and quality assurance.

6. Support annual and quarterly performance reports and oversee and provide technical support to third-party publishing partners in achieving high-quality products/services.The company adheres to company reporting guidelines, with constructive feedback strategically accommodated before printing.

7. Actively involve in cross section discussion and meetings, as well as field work, to get insights and ideas on “eye catching” publicity. In addition, feedback on public in general regarding the company’s publication product can be obtained in direct interaction with them.

8. Summarize feedback on the content and packaging of company reports and publications, and implement a referral system to relevant units/departments regarding specific input and questions and coordinate and analyze the impact of awareness raising through publications and communications, for example in anti-corruption campaigns, for necessary adjustments.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in communication studies, public relations, journalism, marketing, English, business administration, agricultural science, law, forestry, geography, literature, engineering or any related background with experience in corporate communications.

• Willing to travel to all PT Vale Indonesia locations and interact directly with the media and local communities.

• Have 6 years of experience in corporate communications, publishing, crisis communications, or media relations, have knowledge related to PTVI business processes.

• Conflict Management, Public and Media Relations, Media Content Analysis, Internal Communication Management, Strategic Information.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English (journalistic and corporate writing styles).

• High integrity and sound judgment in handling sensitive information.

• Resilient under pressure, adaptable in fast-changing crisis situations, and collaborative in aligning diverse stakeholder interests.
