SPECIALIST - PEOPLE ENGAGEMENT & RELATIONS
About the role
You will be required to drive employee engagement initiatives to embed Respect@Macmahon and Macmahon’s Winning values, and managing employee and industrial relations matters.
The role ensures a positive work environment by promoting effective communication, supporting fair and consistent employee relations practices, and fostering a strong organizational culture across operational sites.
Responsibilities:
• Design and implement employee engagement initiatives that support embedment of Respect@Macmahon and Macmahon’s Winning values, support workforce motivation, retention and productivity across operational sites
• Manage employee relations cases including grievances, disciplinary actions, workplace conflicts, and complaints
• Monitor industrial relations climate and proactively address potential workforce issues
• Ensure implementation of HR policies, procedures, and company’s code of conduct, and support compliance with Indonesian labor regulations and company governance standards
• Provide data-driven insights to improve workforce engagement and workplace environment
Who we’re looking for?
• Have a minimum bachelor’s degree in any major
• Have minimum 4 years of HR experience, preferably in mining, construction or oil&gas
• Have proven experience in employee relations, industrial relations, or workforce engagement programs
• Have experience supporting multi-site is highly preferred
• Have strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Have employee relations and conflict resolution capability, investigation and problem-solving skills, and strong analytical thinking
• Have knowledge of Indonesian labour law and industrial relation practices
• Proficient in English, both oral and written
• Willing to travel to multiple sites
