SUPERVISOR - MAINTENANCE
Location: North Sumatera
About the role
You will be responsible for supervising maintenance work activities according to agreed plan, while maintaining a health & safe working environment with the prime objective of ensuring that the mechanical and equipment’s availability targets are achieved.
Responsibilities:
• To coordinate the maintenance works (mobile equipment) for the successful completion of planned repairs and to provide effective responses to unscheduled repairs or breakdowns
• To coordinate and develop the assigned subordinates in repairing/overhauling for maintenance on equipment and in order to optimize workable time and to minimize turn-around time of each maintenance event
• To enforce safe and environmentally friendly working procedures in order to ensure the excellent safety record and encourage employee participation in health and safety matters in order to comply with statutory requirements and HSE expectation
• To coordinate continuous improvement and optimization activities in order to ensure optimum efficiencies in ongoing basis
• To ensure sufficient competent technical resources are available in order to effectively perform maintenance works
• To develop reports to produce effective back-log plant asset management plan and implementation in order to ensure the accurate presentation of daily, weekly and monthly reports
• To plan and emphasize the implementation of planned maintenance schedule as well as all the reparation of facilities, installation and mining equipment used
• To supervise and inspect all mining facilities, installation and mining equipment within the scope of their responsibility
• To ensure that investigations, inspections, and investigation and testing of mining facilities, infrastructure, installations and equipment are always commenced
• To carry out investigations, inspection and testing of facilities, infrastructure, installations and mining equipment before being used, after being reinstalled, and or repaired
Who we’re looking for?
• Minimum of senior/technical high school or trade qualification is preferred.
• Having Apprentice Certificate is preferred
• Minimum 4 years experiences working in mining industry as foreman maintenance
• Deep knowledge upon practical application of mechanical/electrical/heavy mobile equipment
• Must have SIM A
• Minimum POP certification
• Good communication skills
