Anggreko to provide power supply for Martabe project

London-listed Anggreko Plc would supply electricity to support operation of gold and silver company G-Resources in Martabe project in Batang Toru, North Sumatra.
Anggreko said that the company could supply about 24 megawatt of electricity to PT Agincourt Resource, a unit business of G-Resource in Batang Toru
Debajit Das, managing director of Anggreko Asia, said that the supply was to be made in two stages.
In the first stage, the company began to provide power supply of 8 megawatt in late 2011, and in the second stage, it provided another 16 MW beginning May, this year.
Hong Kong-based mining company G-Resources Group Limited announced last week that the company had begun the commercial production of the company?s gold and silver mine in Martabe, North Sumatra, after enduring 15 years of energy-sapping exploration in the area.(*)
