Bakauheni-Kayung Agung toll road to be completed in August

State Minister of State Owned Enterprises Rini M. Soemarno said that a new 325.9-km toll road project in Sumatra linking Bakauheni in Lampung Province and Kayu Agung in South Sumatra Province will be entirely completed in August of this year.

She was quoted by state-owned news agency Antara as saying Friday that part of the toll road project, from Bakauheni to Terbanggi Besar (140.9-km) has actually been completed and operational since May 17.

Rini said that the remaining section of the toll project linking Terbanggi Besar, Pematang Panggang, and Kayu Agung (185-km) will be completed in August.

The Bakauheni-Kayu Agung toll road section is part of the Trans Sumatra toll road project. (*)
