Central Omega sells 2.1M tons of nickel ore in H1

IDX listed PT Central Omega Resources Tbk stated today it has sold 2.1 million tons of nickel ore throughout the first semester of 2012, booking up to Rp 290 billion of sales, Rp 123 billion of operating profit and slightly higher net profit.

All of the nickel ores were exported to China, the company's Operation Director Ciho Darmawan Bangun said in Jakarta, adding that average selling price for the semester was between US$35 and US$40 per ton.

Central Omega produced 2.4 million tons throughout the semester, of which 0.3 million tons were kept at stockpiling. The company didn't provide additional detail.
