G-Resources records significant progress on Martabe infrastructure

Hong Kong based G-Resources Group Limited reported progress of its infrastructure development to support its gold and silver Martabe mine to commence the production of gold and silver bullion in July this year.
On its report dated August 3, 2012 to HSX it said that the project has managed to produce its first gold and silver bullion on July 24, 2012.
The company reported the key milestone events over the quarter among others are the completion of steelwork and mechanical equipment installation. It said that piping installation was over 95 percent complete, electrical and instrumentation installation was over 85 percent complete while tailings dam was complete.
All infrastructure for start-up had been completed, including the full 32MW temporary power facilities, while the construction of the permanent facilities to connect to the high voltage grid is proceeding well with completion due in Q4 2012.
The Martabe mine is located on the western side of the Indonesian island of Sumatra in the Province of North Sumatra, in the Batangtoru sub-district.
