Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources announced another list of 209 companies qualified to receive clean and clear status indicating that their concession areas are not overlapping with areas of any other mining permits.
The announcement signed by Director General of Mineral and Coal at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Thamrin Sihite, gives 30 days for each company to fulfill all required documents before being granted the C&C certificate.
The required documents among others include the receipt of dues deposits both for exploration and production mining business permit holders. The production IUP holders should also enclose document of environmental impact analysis (Amdal), reports of exploration and feasibility study as well as receipt of royalty payment.
The ministry would not award the C&C certificate to companies failing to meet the deadline.
